Ne-Yo’s Cirque Du Soleil Birthday Bash/BET Afterparty
Ne-yo held a combination Birthday/After-party Saturday night at Atlanta’s Mason Murer Fine Arts gallery. The Cirque?du Soleil themed birthday bash was the first stop for all the celebs in town for the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards, which was held earler that evening. ?The scenary was amazing! Guests were greeted at the entrance by a man with a machete and a naked lady in body paint and the?liquor flowed as circus acts were performed in every corner. ?
The red carpet was also booming as several “A” list celebs made their way into to venue immediately following the awards show. ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Chingy, Gorilla Zoe, La La Vasquez, D. Woods, Bow Wow and more all took part in Ne-Yo’s birthday celebration. ?Jermaine Dupri even ditched his own venue (Studio 72) to make a brief appearance.

2008 BET Hip Hop Awards Invades the “A” ~ GAME ON!
The 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards virtually TOOK OVER Atlanta this past weekend. ? Streets were shut down and midtown residents were pissssssed off! ?Me? ?I was in heaven as all my favorite hip hop honorees were in one spot and although the awards SHOW took over Atlanta, Atlanta artists took over the show! ?I came, I saw, I wrote about it…check out a few of my favorite moments from the show:

Flix ~ Ludacris Designs “A” Cap + New Era 1 Year Celebration
Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges can now add “cap designer” to his ever growing list of achievements. The spactacular rapper/entrepreneur recently designed a cap himself celebrating his love for the “A” town. ?The cap features a large Atlanta Braves “A” style crest on the side-front left that is half clear crystals on the right and half black crystals on the left. ?New Era hosted a party in his honor and to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the Atlanta Flagship store.Shouts out to Nicole Garner of The Garner Circle PR for the invite! I strolled through the spot relatively late but managed to catch up with quite a few “A” list celebs like Killer Mike, Gorilla Zoe, Keisha Knight Pulliam and Young Joc. Former Danity Kane member D.
