Another day, another reality show marriage goes up in flames.
Dr. Simone Whitmore of Married to Medicine is calling it quits after 21 years of marriage to her husband Cecil Whitmore.
Simone reportedly revealed the news to her reality show costars earlier today in New York during the filming of the season 5 reunion show, which airs on Bravo this March.
?I know Cecil and I look like a fun couple to everyone on the outside, but it takes more to make a marriage work,? she said.
?One of the things I was most proud about on our show was the realistic portrayal of black love, with all of the married couples showing America the real ups and downs of raising families. And sadly ? divorce is 50 percent in this country.?

Ciara caused quite a stir with her #LevelUp post to single ladies a few days ago.
The singer, who wed husband Russell Wilson in 2016 after a series of high profile relationship failures, shared a clip of Pastor John Gray?s message of ?carry yourself like a wife, a husband will find you? with the caption, ?#LevelUp. Don?t settle.? (click HERE if you missed that).
While some agreed with CiCi’s statement post, a number of people who took issue with the message and the messenger, citing Ciara’s lengthy dating history as well as there being a lack of messages being shared with single men about how they need to carry themselves.
Loni Love of The Real took issue with the situation as well, and on Monday?s show she asked how Black woman can find a good Black man when so many are unavailable due to incarceration.

Nene Leakes has finally spilled the tea about her alleged involvement with Sheree Whitfield’s prison bae, Tyrone Gilliams.
In last week’s episode, during a conversation with Sheree the seasoned convict seemed to imply that he had a bit of dirt on Nene:
Let’s just say this. NeNe would never want to speak anything negatively about me. She don’t want to go down that road.
Sheree followed up the comments stating that Tyrone told her that Nene “pursued” him but “he didn’t want her” but apparently that’s not the case.
