NFL Star Loses Wife to Cancer After Only 1 Month of Marriage… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

This story of true love and dedication should give us all a reason to pause and reflect during our transition into a new year.

Keasha Ruteleage & Christopher Draft were married November 27, 2011 in Atlanta, GA.

Chris Draft, an 11 year NFL veteran married Keasha in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

During the wedding ceremony, Keasha wheeled her way down the aisle in a wheel chair, taking the last few steps to say her ?I do?s? to the love of her life.

Sadly, after only one month of wedded bliss, Keasha Ruteleage-Draft succumbed to her battle with cancer on December 27, 2011.

Their short lived marriage does not negate the love that was evident between the two.

Thinking about creative ways to boost your monthly income? Well… I dunno about you, but I might haveta revisit online dating! (not!)

According to a recent online article, some single women are out there actually getting PAID from online dating!

They’ve developed a master plan to date as many men online in a week as possible, accumulating thousands of dollars in “perks” from their online suitors, such as free dinners, drinks, gifts and even CASH!

Hold up… I changed my mind. Where do I sign up?? 😯

I recently ran across an expose about a young single New Yorker who said she was so tired of dipping into her savings to keep up with her Manhattan lifestyle that she developed an online plan that combined dating and dollar bills to supplement her monthly income… (and she’s NOT a hooker).

Clifford “T.I.” Harris is hot on the promo trail for his first fictional novel, Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Street, but he recently revealed he’s already on to the (next) next one.

T.I. tells XXL magazine that he’s almost finished with part 2 of “Power & Beauty,” after which he and wife Tiny will pen a book offering advice for couples interested in maintaining a successful relationship.

?We?re right at the end of Power & Beauty II right now. We?re trying to figure out how to end two and begin three,? says the Rubberband Man.

?Tameka and I, we looking to do a his and her relationship book, how to get right and keep it tight.?

Would you take relationship advice from Tip and Tiny? They’ve definitely kept it together longer than most, so it may not be a bad idea.

I’m sure there will be a long chapter on lending your man a hand and holding him down while he’s locked up… but those are really just common sense items.

What’s a good title for Tip & Tiny’s upcoming relationship manual?

Wanna Find Out If Your Lover Is Cheating? There’s an App For That… [VIDEO]

OK… I admit it. I’m an Apple fiend.

When I got my 4GS I sat around for an hour asking SIRI (the new voice-recognition “personal assistant” that accepts spoken commands, answers questions) dumb stuff like, ‘how do I cook collard greens?’ and ‘what size shoe does Shaquille O’Neal wear?” And yes… I got answers!

Apple released its new iOS 5 operating system to go with the newly released iPhone 4S, and it also promoted a new “Find My Friends” app as the perfect solution to track and meet up with friends.

Once you and your friends are linked, you can see all of your their locations on a map on your phone.

Sounds innocent enough right?

I wrote a while back about how investigative agencies LOVE the iPhone because of all the data that’s stored on it…

Well leave it to a disgruntled spouse to figure out a way to use the “Find My Friends” app to keep tabs on his cheating wife… and while I’m sure ol’ boy knew the answers to his ‘cheating’ question way before he decided to snoop, it was the iPhone App that revealed all, “finding” his wife with another man!
