After spending the last 8 months in prison, Lil Wayne was welcomed home with a huge bash in Miami last night (November 7).
Not long after he was released, Lil Wayne took trips to Arizona, Louisiana and Nevada, but was welcomed back to Miami, Florida with a huge bash thrown by Cash Money Records.
Did Nicki Minaj pledge AKA over the weekend..?
Lil Wayne popped bottles and partied all night long with his Cash Money/Young Money clique.

This is the first photo of Lil Wayne leaving Riker’s Island this morning a free man.? Fellow blogger KarenCivil snagged a snapshot of a photo from a photographer’s digital camera.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, there was word floating around that Lil Wayne would have to wait an additional day to be released due to ?miscalculated? time. Turns out out that was just a rumor because at approximately 8:35 a.m., the Young Money head honco became a free man for the first time in eight months.
Always with a camera, Scoob Doo managed to snap one of the first pictures of Weezy out of the bing. Expect to see this on the Nino Brown DVD.
Of course his entire Cash Money/Young Money crew was there to welcome him to freedom, including Birdman and YM freshman Bow Wow. Let the mixtapes begin…

Birdman made sure the cameras were rolling during the delivery of his new vehicle and shows off all the luxury car’s bells and whistles – including an adjustable spoiler and an ignition key that looks more like a Swiss army knife.
The video signs off with the MC/CEO taking his speedy car for a test spin, and Birdman wisely keeps the car under the speed limit…at least while the camera is still rolling.

Lil Wayne wants you to save trees and stop sending him snail mail to the jail. (ooh look… I made a lil rhyme!).

Now that Lil Wayne?s been sent to solitary confinement for the remainder of his sentence, he sent a message via his Twitter account for fans to cease sending him mail. A week after his incarceration this past March, Weezy began responding regularly to fan mail through his website, WeezyThanxYou. He?s scheduled to be released from Rikers Island on November 4th.
I betcha some of y’all hardheads are writing you next letter right now. Stop it I say! He’s only gone til November…
