The Black community once again addressed ‘colorism,’ and Life Coach Iyanla Vanzant was there to lead the way as she detailed how hurtful words and name calling affects younger people as they move into their adulthood.
Diahann Carroll, Kym Whitley, Essence Atkins, Raven-Symone (who once proclaimed to Oprah her desire to not be ‘labeled’ any color) and more opened up about their harsh experiences as light-skinned black women.
