Now he and his booking agent are being sued in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court by a disgruntled promoter after he kept fans waiting and was a no-show at a concert.

Rapper Lil Wayne reported to a New York City courthouse today (March 8th) to begin his one year jail sentence. As previously posted, Wayne’s sentencing was postponed three times; Once to obtain dental surgery [READ: Lil Wayne Displays New Grill], again on March 2nd when there was an unexplained fire in the basement of the NY courthouse where he was to be sentenced, and then a final time March 3rd when the judge felt more time was needed to repair the courthouse after the fire.

Lil Wayne’s sentencing hearing has been postponed… again. This time, it was the judge who made the decision. You may recall that Wayne’s hearing, originally scheduled for March 2nd, was postponed due to a fire in the courthouse, well the Judge feels they need more time for repairs:
According to TMZ:
Lil Wayne will not be going to jail today ? dude?s check-in date was just pushed back again ? for the 3rd time!!!
If you?ve been following the saga ? Wayne was originally supposed to go to jail a few weeks ago ? but the judge cut him a break so the rapper could swap out his diamond teeth for a less expensive set.
Then ? he was supposed to check in yesterday, until a fire broke out in the courthouse and everyone was sent home.
Now, the judge has decided to once again push back Wayne?s court date so more repairs can be made to the courthouse.
According to the Manhattan District Attorney?s Office ? Wayne will be back on Monday ? unless some other crazy, unexpected thing delays the case again.
