Welp… if you were looking forward to seeing Vivica A. Fox on the small screen in ‘Hollywood Divas,’ it’s not going to happen.

It was just about a month ago that ‘Hollywood Divas’ executive producer, Carlos King, announced that the veteran actress would be joining the cast of the show (click HERE if you missed that).

The ensemble series made up of actresses Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Countess Vaughn (The Parkers), Paula Jai Parker (Hustle & Flow), Elise Neal (The Hughleys) and ‘housewife’ turnt actress Lisa Wu (Real Housewives of Atlanta) has been in production for its second season for a few months now.

Hollywood Diva’s cast member Countess Vaughn even posted a message online sharing her excitement about Vivica joining the show:

Reportedly the veteran actress has come to her senses and decided that the reality tv show isn’t for her, but one women’s trash is another woman’s treasure and it seems that Vivica’s loss could be Countess Vaughn’s bff’s gain.

A few days ago, I revealed that actress Vivica A. Fox would be joining ‘Hollywood Divas‘ second season (click HERE if you missed that).

The series, which focuses on the challenges of aging actresses in Hollywood seems like a great fit for Vivica but apparently many seem to think her association with the show is a downgrade.

Wendy Williams recently shared her take on Vivica’s decision, stating:

?Vivica Fox, I love you, but I hate this idea. You are above this. For goodness sake, you were in Pulp Fiction! What are you doing joining the cast of Hollywood Divas? Now, there?s nothing wrong with Hollywood Divas and shows like that?but they are for a certain echelon of people.

When I think of Vivica A. Fox, I?m not comparing her to Golden Brooks, from Girlfriends. [She] was on Girlfriends; respectable career, but where has she been? She?s not supposed to be in the same room, on the same cast as Vivica A. Fox. That?s all I?m saying.?

Newsflash! Hollywood Divas reality show will have a brand new ‘diva’ on deck for their 2nd season… Ms. Vivica A. Fox!

You may have heard by now that Carlos King, the man behind the drama on BravoTV’s ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has decided to leave the popular show to focus on his production partnership with Todd Tucker (and if you haven’t heard… now you know.)

Executive Producer Carlos King To Host ‘Hollywood Divas’ 2-Part Reunion… [PHOTOS]

Hollywood Divas, the explosive TVOne series that reveals the highs and lows faced by five black ‘actresses’ in Hollywood, will air its season finale, tonight (December 3rd) at 10PM/ET.

Executive producer Carlos King (also known for his work on The Real Housewives of Atlanta) is normally a behind the scenes type of guy,? but it’s been announced that he will be sitting front and center as the host of show’s 2-part reunion special!

The cast, comprised of Golden Brooks , Countess Vaughn, Lisa Wu, Paula Jai Parker and Elise Neal, reunite for two, one-hour reunion specials hosted by one of the series? Executive Producers, Carlos King on Wednesday, December 10 and December 17 at 10PM/ET.

It’s another day filled with drama-filled actresses for Hollywood Divas, which aired it’s 7th episode last night (November 19, 2014).

[FLASHBACK:?RECAP: Hollywood Divas Ep6 ‘Bootygate’ + WATCH FULL VIDEO]

This week’s episode is entitled, ‘Who’s The Director?’ as Paula Jai Parker’s position is seemingly questioned by the actions of the cast and crew of the ladies’ film project.

Countess Vaughn, Elise Neal, Lisa Wu and Golden Brooks are still trying to hold it all together, while the ‘director’ is absent, but it seems things may be falling apart.

The 6th episode of Hollywood Divas aired earlier this past Wednesday and the tensions between the ‘divas’ are getting thicker as each week passes.

This week’s episode, titled ‘Bootygate,’ starts with Paula Jai Parker and Golden Brooks going head to head about that drink throwing incident that happened years ago.
