According to The HipHopEnquirer, Waka was released just moments ago from Henry County jail afer posting a cash bond of $40,000 for charges stemming from the arrest warrant issued after authorities raided his home last week.
Waka’s attorney, Ted Johnson spoke out against the arrest and believes the case against his client is weak and without merit.
?My client?was not at the home when the search warrant was executed nor were the weapons found in the house illegal as it has been reported by some media outlets.
Mr. Malphurs has done so much charity work for his community and these charges are a distraction for all the great and positive things he does.?
Attorney Johnson also stated that rappers in general should be very careful about the people they associate with. READ MORE
Waka’s mom, Debra Antney, reportedly picked him up from the jail and at his request, rushed him to the nearest Zaxby’s for his favorite chicken sandwiches.
Waka is free and probably eating chicken as I type while Gucci Mane is still reportedly in the crazy house. I couldn’t make this ish up if I tried…

Gucci Mane’s attorney’s are fighting prosecutors efforts to jail the rapper for a year on probation violation charges by claiming that he’s not mentally competent to stand the hearing.
According to TMZ,
The 30-year-old rapper ? real name Radric Davis ? appeared in a Georgia courtroom yesterday after filing a ?Special Plea of Mental Incompetency? ? in which he explained he was in no state to ?intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing.?
According to the document, the judge ordered Gucci into custody ? and immediately committed the rapper into a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition.
We?re told Gucci is currently at the treatment facility.
Gucci’s drug use is well documented and has frequently has landed them behind bars, so this isn’t too much of a stretch. His camp even tried to force him to go to rehab way before all this went down. I just hope he finally gets the help he needs this time…

Gucci, real name Radric Davis, was ordered back to jail by Fulton Superior Court Judge John Goger for violating terms of his probation — the same offense that led to his incarceration for several months last winter.
Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
Henry County police arrested two people at Waka Flocka’s home for possession of a minor amount of marijuana three weeks ago. The 24-year-old rapper was not home at the time — but Gucci Mane was. He was handcuffed and then freed, according to reports, the second time in as many months that he was arrested but not charged.
Gucci’s recent arrest stems from his recent battles with the law, sparking a probation violation charge.
If you recall, Gucci Mane was briefly jailed in early November after an off-duty police officer reported seeing a white Hummer being driven recklessly on Northside Drive. In that case, officers had to use pepper spray to subdue Gucci Mane, who was jailed overnight. But charges were dropped for “want of prosecution.”
I don’t think Gucci will be as lucky this time around.? The judge reportedly told the rapper’s attorneys Monday that prison time is inevitable and he faces up to a year in jail for violating his probation.
Gucci is currently being held without bond awaiting a Jan. 24th court hearing.

Despite all the drama that went down with Waka Flocka Flame & Gucci Mane yesterday [CLICK HERE if you missed it], there’s still no way to deny that they’ve done some good in the hood.
Waka’s mom, Debra Antney (who’s been accused of being a drug dealer), spoke up about her son and how he and his crew have all been trying to do the right thing:
“I don’t sell drugs and I’m not a gang banger. I’m not gonna have them go through that, not none of them boys – because most of them boys are trying to get their lives together.
They are trying to find gang-afilliated stuff that they can’t find. They’re trying to call our company gangs, like we’re all gangs – even me.
Just days prior to the raid, the two “So Icey” musical stars hit up a local Walmart for Toyz n’ da Hood, where they dropped a load of cash on everything from bikes to electronic games for needy kids who otherwise wouldn’t have a Christmas.
I posted photos of their good deeds yesterday, but I just got the video courtesy of Kaspa Da Don (Zone IV/Hittmenn Djs).
Check out the video that may one day be used in court on their behalf below: Continue Reading…
