We haven’t seen much of Raven-Symone these days, but she was recently spotted partying at the AVA Lounge at the Dream Hotel on in New York City (March 27, 2012 ).
The former “Cosby kid,” who boldly rocked two different shoes with her grey & black ensemble, admits that she’s been selective over the past few years, opting to wait for the perfect role, instead of taking just anything that comes along.
There are always scripts that I’ve had over the years that I’m trying to settle on for different movies and ideas, and that’ll be until it’s bought [by a studio]. But nothing more than that.
The way the industry is, I’ve been very careful and just sit back and wait for different things and see, rather than be too forward. Cause sometimes it’s about timing, not necessarily about your hustle.
The latest and greatest challenge for the 26-year-old Atlanta native is the role of Deloris Van Cartier in the Broadway adaption of “Sister Act” and she was almost unrecognizable as she celebrated at the afterparty for her broadway debut.
