Friday night was such a random “A”zz night for me. After attending Keri Hilson’s Album Release party the night before, I had already decided that I was staying home but one of my Twitter friends (MissOdemi) hit me up with an invite to see Bobby Ray at the loft. Of course I couldn’t resist, so I headed on over.
While I was chillin in the back with my friend Rovella (of the AlmostFamous Show) almost board but not really, I glanced over and noticed Tiny chillin in the cut. My heart skipped a beat cause I knew that Tip wasn’t too far behind. A few seconds later, “The King” came struttin in the room and I knew it was about to be on!? Next came my boo Killer Mike and then Big Kuntry. I wanted to pinch myself cause I felt like I was in Grand Hustle heaven. B.o.B…..I mean Bobby Ray hadn’t even hit the stage yet, but here was Killer Mike, Big Kuntry and T.I. all in the back waiting for his arrival.
Mind you, no one (including me) suspected that Tip would actually hit the stage! But when he did….whoooo-weeee! The video doesn’t do it justice. All I can tell you is if you missed it…you missed out! Not only did Tip perform, but so did Killer Mike and Big Kuntry….and my sorry “A”zz couldn’t get footage cause I was stuck BEHIND the stage!!

Andre 3000’s Class of 3000 LIVE wrapped it’s finale show Sunday afternoon at the Alliance Theatre. The Collective Renaissance Guild in conjunction with the Woodruff Arts Center held a closing show private reception featuring the colorful cast of the show and the kids were dressed as “Graduates” of the Class of 3000.

A host of Atlanta celebs and their kids attended the reception including Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Island Def Jam’s Jerry Clark, Tameka Foster Raymond (and her ex Ryan Glover) and Diddy’s Atlanta baby moms Sara Chapman.

Keri Hilson held her Atlanta album release party for her highly anticipated newly released album “In a Perfect World.” The event was held at Opera and was a hometown celebration as all of Atlanta’s musical Who’s Who came out to celebrate.? Jermaine Dupri, Jontae Austin, Jazze Pha, Fabolous, Lil Scrappy & Diamond, Angel Lola Luv, Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks…hell even Diddy’s Atlanta Baby mama came through! If you were anywhere near Turner Field last Saturday you may have noticed the huge crowds of hip-hop heads that descinded upon the stadium. The georgeous Spring day brought out a ton of ATLiens as all were there to support the 3rd Annual A-Town Day. The event, a celebration of Atlanta, was host to a large group of up and coming Atlanta artists as well as some hometown favorites like Bone Crusher, DG Yola, Slim Calhoun, Big Rube, Rich Boi and more.
There were festivals, concerts and several professionals on hand to spread awareness on topics such as diabetes, cancer and fire prevention. The event was presented by the B-AWARE foundation and proceeds went towards the Georgia Transplant Foundation, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for Performing Arts and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

One particular surprise guest, who happened to stick out like a sore thumb amongst the sea of ATL hip-hoppers, attempted to grace to stage to say “Hello” to her fans but was put on hold by the organizers. This housewife strutted her stuff through Turner Field, flossing her latest Vuitton bag and “SHE” also flaunted her new clothing line. “SHE” eventually got tired of waiting and promptly left the venue to avoid further embarrassment.

Dwight Eubanks, the unofficial 6th housewife on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, threw an over the top 50th birthday bash with a “circus circus circus” theme last weekend. All of the FAB celeb stylists were there in support of their fellow comrade as well as the Atlanta Housewives… and of course there was plenty of oiled eye-candy floating around for the fellas.
