Nappy Roots release the official video for “Hey Love” from their newly released project “NappyDotOrg” project.
In the visual, dem Nappy Boyz revisit a classic Spike Lee joint, “Do The Right Thing.”
The director did a great job of capturing the classic Spike Lee joint…. from Mookie delivering pizza to Radio Raheem with his boom box and love/hate knuckle ring…
They even have a Rosie Perez look-alike shimmying around.

As you know, I posted a few behind the scenes photos HERE that caused quite a bit of flack amongst a few DF member that weren’t quite UP on their social media game.
One DF member who from this moment on shall forever remain nameless on this site, popped off at the mouth about me posting the pics, but got shut down when I came back at him.
I was seriously feeling some kinda way about the situation, being as though I’ve supported these knee-grows even when they’re sitting at home doing nothing.
So… after a slew of apologies from dayum near everyone except the one who shall forever remain nameless, I’ve decided to lift my ban because I know in my heart One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show
But I digress…

Nappy Dot Org is the latest offering from Nappy Roots and they enlisted Atlanta-based production trio Organized Noize to produce the new album.
Organized Noize members Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown, fellow ATLiens known for creating hits with OutKast, Goodie Mob and the rest of the Dungeon Family, took on the task producing tracks that accentuated Nappy Roots’ signature “country boy” sound.

It was sorta kinda a reunion earlier today as The Dungeon Family got together at an Atlanta park to shoot a series of flicks for an upcoming feature in GQ Magazine.
As expected, Andre 3000 was true to form rocking a mask with a white X covering his face… he also decided to go shirtless for a few shots.
Alrighty then… looks like the gangs all here!
Atlanta’s favorite musical family is getting recognition in GQ magazine… that’s a big deal!
Everything seemed to be all good in the hood. I mean… why wouldn’t it be? Well according to the grapevine, a few Dungeon Family members were apparently left out of all the festivities.

So apparently Fonzworth Bentley’s new album is out and no one bothered to tell me… and I’m pisssssed because it’s an addictive banger!
In addition to Mr. Bentley, the hot song features Dungeon Family faves Backbone aka “Fatface” and Slimm cutta Calhoun so ATLiens from Dixie Hills to College Park are all represented.
“The block still bunkin’… gettin all from everywhere. Spend it all… we ‘on care!”
