Just days after a large stash of heroine & marijuana was found on his tour bus in Texas, Nelly beat it to the “A” to make sure his boo’s b-day was amazing!
On Saturday, Nelly treated Ashanti, along with her family & friends to a “surprise” birthday dinner at STK.
Afterwards, the cute couple rounded off the birthday celebration by club hopping between two of Atlanta’s hottest nightclubs Reign and Compound.

Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his entire Family Hustle clan is featured in the recent issue of InTouch Weekly.
“Mainstream” media has finally picked up on the fact that Tip, Tiny, and the their extended family are basically a modern day Cosby Show.
InTouch’s cover article features Tip and and his crew poised in a Huxtable-inspired shot… complete with Cosby sweater and an inset of the older “Cliff” and crew as a reference.
As if we didn’t already feel that way…

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards went off without a hitch… well… I mean, besides that ruckus backstage, but that’s besides the point.

Contrary to popular belief, there were much better things going on in the The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center besides fights and “reported” gunshots.

Performances included: Wiz Khalifa who opened the show (with special guests Young Jeezy & Juicy J) followed by Meek Mills, Kendrick Lamar, 2Chainz, Future, Diddy, MGK, French Montana, T.I., Rick Ross (with special guest Omarion).

That particular incident occurred back in 2010, a few days prior to the hearing that was to determine if Tip would return to jail on federal probation violation charges.
While many speculated that the timing of Tip’s “good deed” was suspect, it was clear that he had a good heart and merely wanted to do the right thing.
But how bout that wasn’t the FIRST TIME T.I. had saved a life!

Clifford “T.I.” Harris jumped off his birthday weekend with a huge celebration at Atlanta’s Vanquish nightclub last night (September 27, 2012).
During his ASCAP “Living Legends” speech, the self-professed king of Atlanta spoke of unity (or lack thereof) between Atlanta artists (click HERE if you missed that), but he managed to bring a few together for his birthday.
Tip was joined by his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, but Usher Raymond, Josh Smith (Atlanta Hawks), Meek Mills all came out to show support.
Even rapper Young Jeezy fell through after hosting his own black tie event.

After a long drawn out introduction from DeVyne Stephens and Jermaine Dupri, whose father Michael Mauldin was among the honorees of the evening Tip speaks on his path in the Atlanta music industry.
He admits he was mad at JD for leaving him out of the historic “Welcome to Atlanta” song and talks about how he survived by pure determination and hard work WITHOUT having his opportunities handed to him for “knowing people” in the industry.
