current wifefiance’, Alicia Etheridge, struggled through a hoard of hungry paparazzi and the emotional singer even got into a small shoving match with a cameraman before making it to their awaiting vehicle.
The “My Perogative” singer has reportedly left his reunion tour with New Edition and promptly flew to Los Angeles after his distraught daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was briefly hospitalized yesterday after the death of mother Whitney Houston at the age 48.
Brown took to the stage in Mississippi just moments after learning of his ex-wife’s untimely passing, performing about 10 songs with his group before breaking with emotion as the concert wound down.
It was during his performance of “Tenderoni,” that Brown’s voice cracked as he seemed to remember his ex-wife. He then waved to the fans and walked off stage. The show ended shortly afterward.

Whitney Houston‘s 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown was reportedly rushed to Cedears-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles earlier today.
Bobbi K was by her mother’s side the last night Houston partied out in Beverly Hills.? According to ABC News,?Beverly Hills Police reported that an ambulance was called this morning to the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the same hotel where Houston was found dead yesterday afternoon.
This time, paramedics were there in response to a call for Whitney’s 19 year old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who was said to be suffering from an extreme anxiety attack.

Bobby Brown Reacts To Whitney Houston’s Death… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]
As news of Whitney Houston‘s tragic and sudden passing circulated online and off, Bobby Brown, Houston’s ex-husband and father of her only child, Bobbi Kristina, was understandably devastated by the news.
In a move that surprised many back then, Brown, known as a music industry “bad boy” and Houston, Clive Davis’ “Golden Child” were married in 1992 . The following year, the couple welcomed their daughter, Bobbi Kristina into the world.After a tumultuous 15 year relationship, the two divorced in 2007.
According to on of Brown’s relatives, he immediately called family and friends upon hearing of Whitney Houston’s death.
“He wanted to tell everyone about it before it hit the news,” one of his relatives tells PEOPLE. “He didn’t want any of us to hear about it on television.”

Bobby Brown and his New Edition brethren hit up DJ Cassidy’s 30th birthday bash in NYC last week (July 6, 2011).
The event was sponsored by Hennessy Black and while Johnny Gill may have admitted backstage during the 2011 Essence Festival he’s been praying over Bobby’s soul, it’s quite apparent that the “KING of R&B” isn’t ready to graduate from his 12 step program.

Bobby Brown caused a ruckus at DJ Cassidy’s 30th birthday party on the USS Intrepid by pulling a waitress’s hair when she walked away from him as they were talking.
R&B bad-boy Brown got into a tangle with the catering staffer before he performed with his ’80s band New Edition at Cassidy’s celebrity-packed birthday bash onboard the aircraft carrier Wednesday night.
