Beyonce was by far the main attraction at the 2009 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. News outlets reported that her scheduled night was the first sold out performance in the festival’s 15 year history. I attended the concert and traded in my nosebleed seats for a closer view courtesy of Honey Magazine. I know y’all think I’m kidding but I actually WON tickets in raffle during Honey Mag’s Motions in Beauty suite on Friday. The coolest thing about the entire weekend was my twitter connects keeping me in the loop.
