Reunited! ~ Dru Hill on Keith Sweat’s Platinum House (Premiere Party Flix/Video)

It?s been at least 10 years since Dru Hill‘s last album dropped but the group has now reunited and has a new reality show in the works that will follow them as they attempt a comeback. Leading the pack is R&B legend and Atlanta resident Keith Sweat who has assumed the role of producer of the show documenting their efforts entitled “Platinum House.”?? Last night, the premiere party for Platinum House, held at Aquanox, and was attended by Vawn, Jazze Pha, Drumma Boy, Frankie, Sheree Whitfield and more. Even that lil boy from Tyler Perry’s House of Pain was there…at the club…partying with the grown folks…but I digress.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Invade South Dekalb + Kim Zolciak’s Unpaid Bills

Lisa Wu-Hartwell, NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield left their comfy confines of North Atlanta to make a trip over to the Eastside last weekend.? The three Real Housewives of Atlanta paid a visit to Dekalb County’s South Dekalb Mall for a special panel discussion with host/moderator V-103’s Ryan Cameron.
The housewives event was orignally scheduled for 4:00pm Saturday but got a late start because all of the housewives had not arrived. By about 4:30pm Ryan finally took the stage and blamed Sheree as the late culprit.? A crowd of about 200 fans cheered and screamed their names as they finally got started.? Questions were prepared in advance, but the biggest revelation came when the trio announced that Season Two would finally begin filming on Monday (today).

O.S.A.M. ~ “WAKE UP” ~ School Daze
School Daze brings back mad memories! Spike Lee once explained that Dap’s point of waking up the entire college was “to encourage the student body to wake up and take notice to what was going on around them. Things were getting out of control and it needed to stop. The calm and conclusive “WAKE UP” to the audience meant “wake up from all the bullsh*t we bring on ourselves and that we perpetuate in our community and neighborhoods and in, most of all, society.”
Please….Wake Up!

Flix ~ Tameka Raymond Headed Home + Usher Didn’t Know?

Tameka Foster Raymond was spotted at Brazil’s Airport of Guarulhos yesterday headed home after recovering in a Brazilian hospital after her liposuction plans were spoiled. Mrs. Raymond spent 11 days recovering from cardiac arrest suffered immediately prior to undergoing the plastic surgery procedure. Her hubby, Usher left a few days earlier amidst speculation that he’s pissed off at Tameka’s decision to have the surgery in the first place.
Reports have surfaced which claim Usher had no knowledge of his wife’s travel plans to Brazil and that he definitely didn’t approve of her having plastic surgery. It’s also being reported that Tameka lied to Brazilian doctors about the time frame of the birth of her last child claiming she’d given birth 4 months ago when in fact her son is only two months old.
I said it on Twitter yesterday and I ain’t ashamed to say it here too… I would be p*ssed “A”zz hell if I went in to have lipo, almost died and woke up to the same fat on my tummy! No joke. Life is precious and her decisions may have been flawed, but Tameka faces the daily scrutiny from a hateful public. I’m not saying her actions were OK….but I understand.? I’m just glad she came out of this OK.
