Check out this new song I just got in my inbox from Johnta Austin called “Take It Back.” It’s a classic R&B joint that reminds me that there’s still come good music out there…somewhere. Most of the time when I can’t say something good, I just don’t say anything…so believe me when I say, this song right here is the ish…and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t really like Johnta all that much since that whole Christina Milian thing.
Meet Ashley Brenetta Florence, 25, of College Park, Georgia. Florence, a teaching assistant at? Northgate High School in Coweta County, is accused of sexing up a student and supplying him drugs to sell at school.
Officials with the Coweta County Sheriff?s Office say Florence had been having sexual relations with the 17 year old student since February and that she also provided? Xanax and Vicodin to him to sell at school. The T.A. has been charged with felony sexual assault against a person in custody, dangerous drugs to be kept in original container and felony possession of narcotics near school property.
Florence was released on $9,500 bond and has been terminated from her position at Northgate High School. Police also say that Florence may face additional charges. (Source)

Monica filled in for V-103’s Ryan Cameron last week and did a marvelous job! During one set, she and TLC member, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins chopped it up about hating “A”zz bloggers, men and relationships. The two got into a heated discussion about how Atlanta has being bombarded by groupies and ho’s and women who will still date married or attached men. Monica goes on to say:
‘It was never OK to be a sideline, now that’s a way of life….there are alot of women who will happily date/ trick off with Rocko in a heartbeat even though he has a woman and two children and a wedding about to happen. They’re OK with that. First of all the morale is a problem…but if I catch you it’s a bigger problem!”
Monica’s been gangsta with it for a while now. Ain’t nuthin changed! Don’t mess with her man cause she ain’t havin’ it!? Ho-ism is runnin’ rampant in the “A” and it needs to stop. I can totally feel where Mo & T-Boz were comin from. Especially seeing how this city has changed over the years…but some responsibility still falls on the cheatin “A”zz man!

I caught up with NeNe Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta a few weeks ago. She shared her favorite O.S.A.M. (Old School Atlanta Memory) which happens to be…what else? Freaknik.? Since she was once a student at the AU Center, I’m know dayum well she had some tales to tell…but she kept it clean.? For the most part, NeNe wanted everyone to know that she sometimes feels like she’s not given a fair chance in the media and that her newfound celebrity is a very bittersweet thing.
Since she seems to be the ‘realest’ in the gang, a ton of celebs and talkshow hosts have been jumping on Team NENE. So far, she’s recruited Anderson Cooper, Wendy Williams, Rosie O’Donnell & even Oprah’s BFF Gayle King!
Oh Hell Naw! Spotted at an Atlanta area elementary school ~ a kid wearing a “Freaknik 95” t-shirt. I have no words…um, yes I do… to the Parents: you are DEAD WRONG for letting your kid wear your dirt on his back! I mean…Freaknik 95 was the joint but Man-Man wasn’t even a twitch in his Dad’s crotch yet! 😕 (Link)
