First, the Mom who shoplifted in Walmart while her 2 toddlers were waiting in the car, and now dayum drug kingpins who hid? 60lbs of cocaine in kitchen cabinets and 45 lbs in the trunk of a car?! Cobb County has been on FIRE this week in their arrests…almost makes me feel safer in Downtown Atlanta. Almost.

Ricardo Santiago (above), 45, of Marietta, was found with nearly 60 pounds of cocaine hidden in kitchen cabinets at a home on Sanibel Lane in Smyrna. Edgar Dominguez (below), 31, of Roswell, had roughly 45 pounds of cocaine in the trunk of his white Honda Accord. Acccording to his warrant, Dominguez was seen leaving the home on Sanibel Lane before his arrest.

Both men were arrested June 3 and charged with drug trafficking, according to police arrest reports. They remain in Cobb County Jail. (source)

Meet Ms.?Lashaundra Chantee Cooper, 23. Ms. Cooper was arrested over the weekend after she left her two kids, ages?1 and 3, alone in an unlocked car while she ventured into a Marietta Wal-Mart and shoplifted items for herself, according to Cobb arrest warrants.

Passer-by’s spotted the unattended children and notified police. The 1-year-old was screaming and walking on the front seat, the keys were in the ignition but there was no adult to be found. ?Officials spotted one car seat in the vehicle, but neither child was in it, according to the warrant.?One of the children was wearing only a shirt and nothing on his bottom half, according to an officer who approached the vehicle.

Cooper was arrested upon her return to the vehicle and faces a felony child cruelty charge. She’s also facing shoplifting charges for allegedly concealing $24.75 worth of merchandise in her handbag and exiting the store. As of todays date, she remains in?jail without bond, according to the Cobb County sheriff?s office web site. ?(Source)

In this economy, she may have gotten a pass if she were ganking formula or something….but leaving kids in a car to steal less than $25 worth of WALMART items (presumably lip gloss & eyeliner and maybe a pair of plastic earrings)….*Fail* ?That deserves a felony…
