Lil Wayne’s hot new protege Shanell is totally blowing everyone away during the America’s Most Wanted tour! Shanell aka SNL (sister of former Danity Kane member D. Woods) is so talented that she’s on tour with heavyweights like Wayne and Young Jeezy without even an album out! She does, however, have a new mixtape coming out soon and is also set to release a full album in 2010. Shanell performed her new song “Play in my Band” onstage and showcased her starpower.

I’ve obviously been slacking on my pimpin! I just found out that yet another Real Housewife of Atlanta castmember has been booted from their Atlanta mansion for foreclosure. Hmmm…let’s see. That makes 3 housewives out of 5.? The odds aren’t looking good right now for the other two. I dunno if it’s a RHOA curse or what, but somebody needs to intervene and get these chicks some financial counseling…STAT!

If you haven’t heard of the Rich Kid$ yet you may just need to get out more often. Not 1 but TWO Rich Kid$ singles have been getting mad airplay in the “A” and they have been coined the next musical movement from Atlanta. Comprised of members: Rashard, Babe Kaelub, Baby Charles, Lil Juney and Skool Boy, The Rich Kids have the Atlanta underground music-scene going nuts. The group is a collection of all-star talent from Atlanta’s own Frederick Douglass, Westlake and Southside High Schools (APS stand up!!) and the two hit singles bubbling in Atlanta are the melodic “Wassup” and the club-banger “My Patna Dem”. Custom Whipz Auto Spa held a special Meet & Greet last week geared towards connecting artists directly with bloggers and media in Atlanta. Kaspa Da Don (of Hittmenn Dj’s and Zone 4) spear headed the campaign to unite these two forces and recruited me to gather up the troops. Now…this was the first EVER event that I personally had a hand in and I accepted the challenge.? Drumma Boy, Pretty Ricky, Young Dose, Poppa Snoop, Big Bank Black, Lo Fat, Mika Means, DeeDee Cocheta (ABC Publicity), Willie Hustle, Tommy Gunz and more all came through. Check out the flix below:
