Finally…someone listened to me! Tameka Foster Glover Raymond recently decided to prove me wrong and show that she is indeed smart enough to write a blog.? Meka stepped into the shoes of those she most despises (i.e. the bloggers) and The Huffington Post gave her a forum to debate the history of dark skinned vs. light skinned African Americans.? While the message in the post is pertinent, it gets totally lost from the messenger.
Reading magazines, social media sites, watching our music videos, and television shows feed our appetites for all things ‘beauty”. Rarely, however do I see depictions of grace and elegance in the form of dark complexioned women.
Tameka is such a sad figure these days and wants your sympathy in whatever way she can get it. Now it’s all WOE is me…love me cause I’m darker than everyone else… gimme a f*ckin break!? Let’s not forget how Meka dissed fellow blogger Continue Reading…

Young Jeezy premiered his new shoe “The Snowman” at the ADIDAS store in Lenox Square Mall last weekend. He signed autographs for his fans and shut the store down as he shopped for his performance gear for the night’s AMW (America’s Most Wanted) Tour that he was scheduled to perform.

Jeezy was tryna decide which pair to choose for his Atlanta concert. He ended up choosing the ones on his right (your left), the Adidas Forum Mid with black uppers, slime ?macaw? green pops and gold accents. The ones he chose retails for $100. (Click Here for more info).

Word on the street is that Kandi Burruss can’t take the heat associated with her appearances on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta and has decided to leave when her contract is up this season. Of course you’ve heard of the drama between she and NeNe Leakes, well I got a chance to chat with Kandu up close and personal during the Madden 10 MVP Premiere Party where she confirmed to me that the “drama” is indeed real.
Kandi feels that NeNe is a faker who plays all of her “friends” off of each other. While most people labeled her castmate, Sheree’ Whitfield as the troublemaker it was NeNe all along. During her brief period on the show, Kandi, being from the “A,” is not one to sit by and be disrespected so she never fails to stand up to NeNe, which in turn causes conflict. I guess all the other castmates kiss “A”zz while Kandi stands her ground. Being that we’ve only seen a few episodes so far, the real drama has yet to be seen on the show.
I also asked Kandi about her relationship with her fiance Ashley “A.J.” Jewel and inquired if they’d set a date. Kandi explained that there was no date and that the show has been a major stress factor in their relationship. Now before you start the rumor that Kandi and AJ are no more, I recently overheard AJ bragging about being engaged to Kandi so I’m assuming they’re still together.? Whatever the case, Kandi’s decision to join the housewives cast seems to be causing more drama in her life than ever. I hope that she decides to continue to stand strong and represent for the real hometowners but I can’t blame her if she decides to dip.
My boo Drama Dupri also has a lot to say about the whole Kandi leaving RHOA situation. He’s playing devil’s advocate and supporting Team NeNe while I’m riding for Kandi all day errr day.? Peep his hilarious commentary below:

I’m so mad I’ve been sitting on this dayum sample cd! Absolutely furious! My patnah nem, Kaspa Da Don of Zone 4, Inc. shot me this new joint from a new singer/songwriter named Ester Dean, the newest artist signed to Polow Da Don’s? label. Anywhoo….I don’t play favorites so I didn’t even think to listen to it. Funny thing is, I was sitting in the car yesterday and heard this hot “A”zz beat on the radio. I used my trusty Shazam iPhone application to discover the name of the song and it turns out it was non other than Ester Dean. The same song that was on the disc sitting under the seat of my car! *sigh*
