Morehouse college has revealed a new policy on campus which they say is designed to uphold “the image of a strong black man.”? The new policy is creating a bit of backlash because people are saying that it is alienating gay students at the all-male historically Black college. The new policy details 11 expectations of students, including:
* no caps, do-rags and/or hoods in classrooms, the cafeteria, or other indoor venues
* no sun glasses worn in class or at formal programs
* no jeans at major programs, as well as no sagging pants on campus
* no clothing with derogatory or lewd messages either in words or pictures
* no wearing of clothing usually worn by women (dresses, tops, tunics, purses, pumps, etc.) on the Morehouse campus or at college-sponsored events.
It’s the restriction on women’s clothing that causing an uproar at the school. In a city where men in pumps carrying purses is somewhat commonplace and revered on “reality” television, Morehouse is taking a stand and seems to be attempting to give our historic city some dignity. Two former employees of the Louis Vuitton store at Lenox Mall and Gucci at Phipps Plaza were sentenced Wednesday in a high-end credit card scheme.? Carlton J. Maxey, 40, the Louis Vuitton sales associate and Lee S. Brockwell, 32, the Gucci employee have each been charged and sentenced in the “Gucci/Louie” credit card scheme.
The two assisted James O. Omotosho, 39, and Aghedo P. Iyamu, 43, both of Atlanta, in obtaining several thousand dollars in merchandise from the boutiques.? Brockwell knew both men and waited on them at Gucci, while Maxey aided Iyamu in obtaining items at Louis Vuitton, which included a $20,000 watch. Usher Raymond‘s 911 call regarding the vandalization of his vehicle has been released to the masses. In the call, Usher claims that after a domestic altercation with his soon to be, almost ex-wife Tameka Foster Glover Raymond, his car had been keyed.? In case you missed details of both police reports earlier, this is audio of the 2nd call.? In it Usher explains he’d just called the cops the night before to file “a complaint because of potential domestic violence between me and my ex wife.”

“Deuces”
Usher Raymond IV and his almost ex-wife, Tameka Foster Glover Raymond are still battling it out in their nasty divorce proceedings. Claims have been made that Usher has been refusing to sign the papers, while his camp claims that it’s the judge that holding up the documents. Whatever the case, Usher seems to have moved on with his life and is busy promoting his upcoming project, appropriately entitled Raymond v. Raymond, while his soon to be ex is busy racking up criminal complaints.
The drama seemed to unfold as Usher leaked a track early last week called “Papers” that basically ethered his soon to be ex (Click to listen/download). Tameka then fired back by writing an essay that I wasn’t interested enough to read. It was revealed later by TMZ that just days prior to the release of the “diss” track the singer had to involve the authorities to keep Tameka at bay.? Ursh had to call the cops not once… but twice! Even accusing Meka of scaling fences OJ style sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his vehicles.
