Fans have been clamoring for an ‘ATL’ reunion for years and back in 2015, rapper T.I. began hinting that there was a sequel in the works.

The legendary ‘coming of age’ story which was released back in 2006, featured the tales of four working-class teenagers from Atlanta and touched the hearts of many who reminisced about a time when the the coolest place to hang out is the local rollerskating rink.
The film not only solidified T.I. as an serious actor, but it introduced many to Lauren London through the character ?New New,? who became an overnight star as the lovable girl next door.
Well, rumors of an ATL sequel are buzzing online yet again as London spoke on it recently.

“After the Q-Tip thing, after I kind of had smoothed it over, like okay, ‘What is really meant to be said here is…’ After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [accomplished].
I’ma be all the way real: I’m a loyal partner. If I rock with you I’m gon’ rock with you…I really do feel that they just needed a little more time to adjust, which I feel they can do. They have the talent, they have the charisma.”

It’s been almost 10 years since the 2006 release of A.T.L. graced the big screen and over the years, it’s been speculated that part 2 was in the works now we actually have proof & confirmation!
T.I. starred as the main character Rashad, and the film featured other big names like Big Boi of OutKast, Evan Ross, Lauren London, Jason Weaver, Jackie Long and more.
Well T.I. finally confirmed that he’s working on ATL2 posting confirmation of the sequel via instagram.
