Word on the street is that Andr? Benjamin’s Benjamin Bixby clothing line isn’t selling very well, but that may soon change after it’s creator’s current nomination. GQ Magazine recently dubbed Dre (aka Andre 3000) as one of the Best New Designers in America and he took a moment to reveal his style influence to the world:

The influence: ?In high school, in Atlanta, when Grand Puba told us to wear Girbaud jeans, I wore Girbaud jeans. Then you had this prep movement happening: Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer, Bass, Sebago, and Timberland. This is the magazine’s 3rd annual search for the hottest desginer in Men’s fashion and Andre has a great chance of winning the acclaimed honor. Way to go Dre….keep doin your thang!
