A few hours?prior to the conservative post above, Sharpton almost broke the internet with a selfie that quickly went viral.
The honorable reverend?hit the net in the pre-dawn hours to share an innocent message about his day’s plans but soon became the hottest topic on the net with his latest selfie pose.

Actress Tichina Arnold hosted the 2015 Triumph Awards, which took place in Atlanta last Saturday night (September 12, 2015).
The event, presented by Reverend Al Sharpton, National Action Network (NAN) and TV One, was filmed in at 200 Peachtree. Now in its 6th year, the event aimed to recognize the impact its honorees have made on our society.
This year’s honorees included Tyrese Gibson, Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, Wanda Sykes & Rosalind Hudnell.
Presenters included Afemo Omilami, Danielle Nicolet, Darrin Henson, Donnie Simpson, Nicole Beharie, Soledad O?Brien, Syleena Johnson, Richard Lawson, ?Patrik-Ian Polk and Terri J. Vaughn.
Musical performances included Tyrese, Tasha Cobbs, Estelle, Jazmine Sullivan, Ledisi, Chante Moore, Stokley Williams and the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta. Award winning hip-hop artist, T.I. delivered an original spoken word piece titled ?United We Stand?, urging youth to not lose focus on the meaning behind the Black Lives Matter movement.
Musical Director and house band for the night was The Robert Glasper Experiment.

This week Bishop Jones and his girlfriend, Loretta Jones, are the main topic of conversation amongst the preachers and everyone on the show seems eager to see them get married? everyone except Jones himself.
While the two have been ‘friends’ for 16 years, Jones hasn’t made any moves toward the altar and everyone around him is giving him the side-eye.
Jones blames his travel schedule on his decision not to tie the knot, plus he has a lot of unresolved personal issues (i.e. his daughter by x-factor’s Stacey Francis)

In case you haven’t heard, Thompson (who happens to be an Atlanta native) recently caught a ton of flack after he made a statement that that Black women who audition for roles on the show simply haven?t been ?ready? for prime time.
?It?s just a tough part of the business,? he told TV Guide. ?Like in auditions, they just never find ones that are ready.?
While Thompson’s comments may have rang true, the show took advantage of Washington’s appearance on the show to reveal it’s response to the drama.
In one single skit, Washington portrays Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.? When she’s asked to exit the Oval Office a third time to return as Beyonce, a voice over and text reveals SNL’s apologetic response.

The question of what happened to?Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos?nearly a decade ago has never been answered but filmmaker/media mogul Tyler Perry has opened is pockets and is offering up to $100,000 for some answers!
Perry is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of the present whereabouts of Terrance Williams or Felipe Santos, for a total of $50,000.
Additionally, he is offering a $25,000 reward for information which, following an arrest, leads to a final conviction, adjudication or plea of guilty or no contest to a felony crime of causing, contributing to, or facilitating the death of Williams or Santos, for a total of $50,000. (source)

Looks like Kandi has yet another new doo! She went to a shorter sleeker bob a few weeks ago and now it appears she’s lightened it up quite a bit.? I like!
Kandi’s prepping for the premiere of her brand new reality show ?The Kandi Factory,? which hits airwaves next week. 
As I revealed back in September, the new show will be kind of a talent contest, where Burruss will turn 2 people into “pop stars”.
Burruss will give two prot?g?s the opportunity to come to Atlanta and learn the fundamentals of pop music success. She has identified three factors that have to fit perfectly together to create a pop sensation: the song, the look and the performance.
Burruss and her team of experts at The Kandi Factory will work with the two contestants in order to turn them into music superstars.
