Everyone wants to know what’s up with DeShawn Snow. Y’ll remember her don’t you? The only true “housewife” featured on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, who just happened to be booted off of the show because she was too well adjusted (i.e. boring). Well, DeShawn is still pursuing her path to righteousness by obtaining her Masters of Divinity degree. She’s still managing her foundation and has also started writing her own sermons.? Loyal reader KRSWon sent over her most recent piece yesterday called Turning Your Trials into Triumps. Here’s a sample below:

Whatever situation you are in, you are equipped to handle it.? God would not allow you to be in something that you cannot handle.? According to the Bible, you have the ability to turn your defeat into victory and your trial into triumph.? Instead of being a victim, you can become a victor (James 1:2-8).

When you face the trials of life, you should evaluate them in the light of what God is doing for you.? Therefore when trials come, you should immediately give thanks to the Lord and adopt a joyful attitude.? It may not be easy to do, but just look at your trials through the eyes of faith.

The new season hasn’t even started yet and I already miss DeShawn. I’m sure Kandi Burress will be an exciting replacement but DeShawn added a bit of balance to all the craziness that may be lacking next season. Y’all just watch. DeShawn’s gonna end up with her own show on The Bible Network and she’ll be saving souls while the other “housewives” are still talking ish and losing their properties! With God on your side who can be against you?!?
