Kandi Burruss was spotted in the studio with Ne-Yo yesterday while filming for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Unlike T.I., Kandi can focus on two things at one time and is currently working on both her music career, as well as putting in work as a reality show television personality.? So those of you who expected her to put a hold on her music career were wrong…. as usual.
Neyo is still recording for his album “Libra Scale,” which is scheduled to hit shelves October 5th. As a matter of fact, he’s in the studio with Dallas Austin right now as I type!
[Sidebar: In case you were wondering about Ne-yo’s cropped skinny jeans, he didn’t steal the look from Chris Brown & Usher, it was inspired by his recent trip to London… catch up!]

In case you haven’t heard, Ne-Yo has a baby on the way. There were rumors that he was engaged to his baby mama to be, Monyetta Shaw (pictured above), but Ne-Yo quickly put those vicious rumors to rest.
In fact, not only did he dispute being engaged, Ne-Yo also squashed any notion that he’s even romantically involved with the future mother of his child:
?I have a friend. Not a girlfriend. She?s carrying my child but knows I can?t commit. She doesn?t mind other women.? (source)

Ne-Yo performed in South Africa recently and took some time out to play with the animals.? As an avid animal lover myself, I can’t help but admire the photos from Ne-Yo’s trip. Strangely enough, I even joked about my dream of becoming a zoo keeper yesterday before these photos even hit my inbox!
And damn if Ne-Yo didn’t beat me too it!
I think I’ll go to the zoo later this week….

Ne-Yo’s Compound Foundation held it’s 3rd Annual Mothers Day Brunch Sunday afternoon at Opera Atlanta.
Several local foster moms were honored during the celebration and were treated to a catered brunch, live performance by R&B sensation Raheem DeVaughn, and a day of pampering provided by Carols Daughter all hosted by the Grammy winner.
It was a perfect day celebrating motherhood but specifically honoring the mothers who unselfishly give a loving home to kids in Georgia?s foster care system.
Kudos to Ne-Yo!

Aliyah Najm, H. Loraine Smith and? Jacida Carter (mothers of T-Pain, Neyo and Lil Wayne), aka The Hip Hop Moms, joined forces with Scherri Henderson of the I AM Movement for a PSA to create HIV and AIDS awareness.
The three ladies are also busy working on a reality show where they plan to discuss important topics similar to what they addressed in the recent public service announcement:
