Fantasia Barrino’s affair with Antwuan Cook almost cost her major dough but it’s looking like she may come out on top.

Paula Cook, the estranged wife of Fantasia’s married boyfriend, named Tasia in their divorce suit as the catalyst to their break-up.

RadarOnline is reporting that a NC judge ruled in favor of Antwaun Cook in his divorce proceeding against ex-wife Paula, finding that the pair?s separation date was September 14, 2009 — not June, 2010, as Paula had claimed.

Fantasia took the witness stand in the case last month, where she admitted to having an abortion with Antwaun?s child.

?Did you tell Mr. Cook you aborted his child?” the singer was asked on November 22.

“I did, yeah,? Fantasia responded.

The former American Idol winner was then asked when she aborted the baby, to which she admitted: ?It hasn’t been too long ago.?

Paula had claimed Fantasia knew Antwaun was married and went ahead with their relationship anyway ? thus the court hearings to uncover the truth.

There?s no word yet on what effect the court decision will have on Paula?s plan to sue the singer under North Carolina?s unique Alienation of Affection law. Fantasia and Paula had been mediating behind closed doors discussing a possible settlement but with this recent ruling, Fantasia may be able to save a boatload of cash.
