Cissy Houston, the 81 year old Grandmother of Bobbi Kristina Brown, recently broke her silence regarding the condition of her granddaughter (March 25, 2015).

Bobbi Kristina hasn’t regained consciousness since January 31, 2015 but yesterday her Grandmother spoke on a NY radio station, stating there is “not a great deal of hope” for recovery.

Houston, mother to Whitney Houston and grandmother to Brown, seemed in very good spirits as she gave an exclusive interview to New York’s WBLS-FM. Houston reiterated that Brown, 22, had been moved to a rehabilitation facility and said although recovery seems unlikely, the family has been praying.

“I don’t pray like that. I give it to God one time, because I know he’s able, and I cannot change a thing,” Houston explained.

“So I’m asking everyone to pray to the Lord, who we know can do something about it.”
