I hit you with a bit of behind the scenes footage from Big Boi’s “You Ain’t No DJ” video shoot last week, but I just got even more behind the scenes video in my inbox!

The hot Andre’ 3000 produced track is getting mad airplay and the video looks like its gonna be a banger as well. Everyone from Khujo Goodie to Uncle Darnell can be spotted on the set. Looks like they had a Dungeon Family reunion in that bish!

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton aka Sir Lucious Leftfoot is on a mission to shoot a video for each and every song on the album. He’s done 6 videos so far and “You Ain’t No DJ” makes number 7 on the list.

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton along with Rick Ross & Lil Jon did a threesome of sorts with Chelsea Handler last night on late night television.? The trio sat on The Chelsea Lately Show’s first ever “Rapper’s Round Table” and gave the comedian all the Black man she could handle.

As expected, the segments were filled with hilarious commentary and sexual innuendo and Chelsea took every opportunity to question the men on topics ranging from “A”zz implants to Keyshia Cole’s Momma Frankie’s upcoming role on Celebrity rehab:

Video ~ Big Boi’s Big Kidz Celebrity Fundraiser

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton held the 5th Annual fundraiser for his Big Kidz Foundation last Saturday evening.? Joined by his beautiful wife, Sherlita, Big was a gracious host as he took time to mingle and greet each and every one of his invited guests.

The evening’s theme was “Canvas for Kids” and Big, along with a few of his celebrity friends like T.I., Martha Stewart, Andre 3000, Idris Elba, Ludacris, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Janelle Monae and more, all contributed an original piece of artwork to auction off for the kids.

Big even contributed a bit of his own cash to the cause! He came out of pocket with $1,800 after winning a bidding war for George Clinton’s masterpiece. Continue Reading…

Big Boi Holding Steady on Billboard Chart + BIG Event Alert! Big Kidz Foundation Fundraiser

My boo Antwan “Big Boi” Patton is riding high off of the success of his highly anticipated album release “Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty.”? The album debuted at #3 on Billboard, moving a respectable 62,000 units in the first week.

Not only is Big focused on promoting his new album, but he’s also focused on helping kids with his Big Kidz Foundation 5th Annual fundraiser.

Art of Life- ?Canvas for Kidz? will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery.? The event will be hosted by comedian/actor Fazion Love and 100% of money raised will go towards Big Kidz Foundation’s programs that focus on the Arts and Educational programs for kids.

?Canvas for Kidz? (a LIVE auction) is the highlight of the event and several of Big’s celebrity friends have come together to support the foundation and have created and/or donated artwork to the cause. Continue Reading…
