Freshalina sent these over to me and when I read “Big Boi & Date” in the caption, I almost grabbed my glock.? Then I opened the file and saw it was Sherlia and it was all good since she’s ATLien approved… but I swear if I catch one of you other heffa’s messin with my man it’s gone be on & poppin!

I’m not a huge Janelle Monae fan but when I posted “Tightrope” on The A-pod last month I immediately liked it and I don’t know why. It may have been because of the Big Boi feature or maybe it’s just good music.
Whatever the case, the official video dropped yesterday and yes…. Twannnnns in it!!

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton sat down with the homie GyantUnplugged recently to discusses his recent decision to move from his long time label Jive to Def Jam and how it all came about.
Gyant conducted the interview and Twan’s legendary Stankonia Studios and they discussed everything from “Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty”, to an unlikely production collaboration with current production leper Scott Storch.
Oh yeah…. they even talked about what’s up with Outkast.

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton has announced his departure from Jive records and has signed a one album deal with Def Jam for the release of Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty.
In an excited tweet sent Friday, Big exclaimed that the deal is done and he’s finally free to release his music:
I’m heading over to Stankonia one day this week to get the low down, but apparently Def Jam CEO L. A. Reid, who first signed Outkast to the label over 15 years ago reached out to Big Boi to release the solo project under Def Jam.
Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty is currently scheduled for a May 2010 release. Congratulations Twannnn!!? It’s about dayum time.
