Hometown favs like Akon, Bow-Wow, T.I. joined in on the fun as well as Kevin Liles, Angel Lola Love, Tracey Edmunds and Jay-Z.? Jeezy sported his sexy scruffy look, Jay sported his Louie Scarf and Tip sported his bird chest… 😆 Love it!? Akon, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy celebrate the life of the rich and famous in the new video for “I’m So Paid”. The song is the first single from Akon’s upcoming, “Freedom” cd, which drops November 25th. ?Honestly, I like the song and all jokes aside, I honestly feel that Akon’s response to the controversy surrounding the drop was heartfelt. Yes…we are in a recession and people are losing their jobs and homes everyday and No…it’s not his fault that he’s still rich as hell. ?Get over it. Dance to the song and move on.

I think the song is?braggadocios, especially when there are tons of people losing their jobs…but oh well. Akon says this is going to be one of his favorite videos cause he can “relate”. ?I can see that. ?Especially since?White women, Lamborghini’s and blood diamonds seem to be a recurring theme in the vid…?

Nelly held a press conference this weekend in Las Vegas to announce his new CD “Brass Knuckles.”? Jermaine Dupri, Akon and Sylvia Rhone (President of Motown and Exec. VP of Universal Records) were all spotted at the event.? “Brass Knuckles” will be Nelly”s first full album of new songs in four years is scheduled for release on August 19, 2008…and no.? There was no sign of Ashanti. 😕
