In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday, I give you the “King Holiday” tribute video.
This rare vintage video, made way back in 1986, which by the way was the first year the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday was honored, brought together some of the top artists of that time to honor his legacy and celebrate the day.
King’s son Dexter is featured in the opening, while the “King Dream Chorus and Holiday Crew” featuring the likes of El DeBarge, The Fat Boys, Whitney Houston (before the crack), Full Force, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Kurtis Blow, Stacy Lattisaw, Lisa Lisa, Teena Marie, Menudo, Stephanie Mills, New Edition, Run-D.M.C., James “J.T.” Taylor & Whodini, all sing and rap their way into history.

Usher Raymond arrived in Berlin, Germany a few days ago to kick off the European leg of his tour.? The initial concert was scheduled Wednesday, January 12th but Usher wasn’t feeling up to par so he postponed it…
Reports are that Usher was suffering from a sinus infection but since the show must go on Usher hit the stage the next night.
As if having to wait a day for some Usher wasn’t bad enough, fans attending the rescheduled show on Thursday (January 13th) got treated to a “Bishop Eddie Long” when Usher, apparently disgusted and embarrassed by his own performance, abruptly dropped the mic and exited stage left….

Lil Wayne looks kinda carefree in his latest mug shot.
It’s no biggie for Lil …. when he left Arizona last month — where he’s on felony probation — for Florida, he was required to register with the Sunshine State and part of the process is sitting for a new mug shot.
Eh… I’m sure it’s no biggie at all. In fact, that was probably just a pit stop because Wayne’s was also spotted in a Miami recording studio last night…
