From the mind of Wayne Brady and The ladies of Elite Delta Force 3 comes a spoof of one of the most popular reality series on air…. the HOUSEWIVES!

Written by Angela Yarbrough and directed by Ken Whittingham the spoof takes us back to the civil rights era where we encounter a few of our iconic figures placed in hilarious “housewife” reality show situations.

“When I walk into a room… White people want to shoot me!” ~ Betty Shabazz

“I’m the wife of a ‘King’ so I always do it BIG!” ~ Coretta Scott King

“I don’t like taking a back seat to anyone!” ~ Rosa Parks

You get the drift! And they even have a token White “housewife”…. Marilyn Monroe! *sigh*

Ceelo Green’s Feathery Grammy Costume Inspired by Elton John… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

CeeLo Green performed his hit song “F*ck You” aka “Forget You” during the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards wearing a bright colored feathery ensemble. Lo performed the song as a duet with Gwyneth Paltrow and they were joined by a slew of muppet characters.

Lo’s stylist, Shawn Barton reveals that it was Elton John’s classic muppet performance that sparked her creativity in Ceelo’s costume.

Cee Lo is a huge fan of Elton John. It was an homage to Elton. Cee Lo remembered that episode on The Muppets from when he was maybe about 5 years old.

Trey Songz gets all “romantical” in the new video for “Love Faces,” the current single from his “Passion Pain & Pleasure” project.

In the mostly black-and-white clip, the R&B crooner and his on-screen love interest, who happens to be an artist, share a few intimate thoughts during her gallery opening.

They manage to keep their distance and pretend they don’t know each other since it’s her first show and she doesn’t want to get distracted thinking about him.

El Debarge Cancels Comeback Tour & Heads to Rehab…

Singer El DeBarge has canceled his long-awaited comeback tour just days before it was to begin and immediately entered a rehab program for substance abuse problems.

The 49-year-old R&B star has been on the comeback trail the past few months, releasing his fan favorite, “Second Chance” (his first album in 16 years) last November.

El started his comeback with a performance at the 2010 Essence Festival, followed by a show-stopping performance at last year’s BET Awards. He also scored two Grammy nominations?for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song.

Debarge was scheduled to perform on “The Intimacy Tour” alongside Grammy-nominated singer KEM, he also had secured a gig as the opening act for Mary J. Blige and planned to tour extensively on his own in 2011.

Now those tours… and his comeback, are on an “indefinite” hold.

Debarge has been open about his struggles with drug abuse – particularly crack and heroin and had even been featured in StraightFromTheA.com’s mugshot mania collection prior to cleaning up his act.

In a press release, Debarge states,

I hate to disappoint my fans but it is necessary for me to take the time to work on me so that I may continue to share my music and my story with everyone.

I’m praying for El and hopes he gets it all back on track soon.
