How Did Oprah Manage To Offend The Entire Country Of India?

Oprah Winfrey has sparked a ton of controversy with her latest ?Oprah?s Next Chapter? segment.

Things didn’t go so well when the media mogul was in India a few months back taping the show, and now that it’s aired, she reportedly has the entire South Asian country up in arms.

The people of India are offended at how Miss O. portrayed the country and it’s residents on the show:

The smell of incense (tick), the sari fitting (tick), the aspirations of slum dwellers (tick), and the glitz of Bollywood (tick). Let?s not forget arranged marriages and the fact that Indians, even rich ones, ?still? eat with their hands (tick, tick).

India as Westerners imagine it, one stereotype at a time.

As shocking as it may seem, “As The HOOD Turns” aka Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta is proving to be the nation’s guilty pleasure.

The AJC reports that the show is a MONSTER hit for VH1, with last week’s episode accumulating over 3.5 million viewers.

While there hasn’t been an “official” announcement, it’s obvious that there WILL be a season 2 negotiated for the top rated show and word on the curb is that there will also be a few cast changes the next go round.

Beyonce Calls Jay-Z’s Cell In New Commercial… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Sean “Jay-Z” Carter teams up with his wifey in a cute new commercial (sort of).

Jay-Z recently invested in Duracell and signed up as the spokesperson for Duracell Powermat, which will allow cell phone users to charge their phone wirelessly through ?wireless power hot spots?.

Gone are the days we curse our iPhone batteries for turning red as soon as we walk out the door!

The Duracell Powermat commercial features a New Yorker running around Manhattan without ever having to worry about his phone?s battery life.

As ?Run This Town? plays in the background, he bumps into Jay-z at a nightclub, just as he receives a phone call from someone listed as ?B?.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume it was Beyonce calling, but I’ve been wrong before.

Frank Ocean‘s Channel Orange is on constant rotation on my personal “A”pod right now but what’s sad is that many only know about the drama surrounding the album, and not the music itself.

Ocean released his album a week early on iTunes after one of the songs preveiwed sparked rumors about his sexuality, causing him?to “out” himself.

Just for the record, Frank Ocean’s talent has absolutely nothing to do with his sexuality. So you should get into him for that reason alone.
