Super celebrity photographer Derek Blanks recently completed a hott photoshoot with my homie super blogger NecoleBitchie.? Derek, famous for his Alter Ego concepts, displays Necole fighting against her inner nerd. She was soooo nervous about how these were going to come out but I knew they would be gorgeous. Her inner light shines through and Derek captured it on film! Necole is going to post more photos later on her site and will explain the concept in detail, but I just couldn’t wait to share these with you guys!

Murder on the Subway: Police Fatally Shoot Unarmed Man, Family Files $25M Suit

On New Year’s Day, Oscar Grant, III (above) was fatally shot in the back by a subway police officer. The event occurred on California’s Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) and was thankfully captured on film by several onlookers within the station. Video footage clearly shows that the unarmed Grant was cooperating with authorities, who had also detained several other young men.? Keyshia Cole covers Jet Magazine’s January 12th 2009 issue. Am I the only one who doesn’t recognize Keyshia in this photo? It’s lovely and all but where’s Keyshia?? 😕 BTW…I’m still laughing at this visual of Keyshia and Young Jeezy partying on two different sides of the same club on Christmas Day.? My homie NecoleBitchie is speculating that KeyCo may be on the hunt to get her man back, as she shouted out subliminals to Jeezy at her platinum party at the Velvet Room last week:

I?m just doing my thing out here. Keeping that money popping so that I can handle my business the way it should be handled?without a MAN. I?ve been single for like a year now but it?s all good regardless. Shout out to Young Jeezy! I mean I haven?t talked to him in about a year but shout out to Young Jeezy because that?s my dawg!

Lisa Raye returned to her adopted home island of Turks & Caicos to deliver toys and goodies for a few unfortunate kids for Christmas. Assuming someone had to pay for her donations, a few days later she was spotted dancing for dollars onstage in Baltimore:
