Five fire stations closed temporarily yesterday in the City of Atlanta due to increased number of Atlanta firefighters who called in sick on Superbowl Sunday. A total of twenty-seven firefighters ditched work yesterday, contributing to the temporary closure, or brownout, of five fire houses.

Ladder No. 25 (Cascade/Beecher, Southwest), ladder No. 26 (Moores Mill/Howell Mill — North Buckhead), engine No. 12 (Dekalb Avenue/Little 5 Points), engine No. 30 (Cleveland Avenue/ Lakewood Heights area), engine No. 22 (Bankhead/Hollywood Road, Northwest), engine No. 26 (Moores Mill/Howell Mill — North Buckhead) and engine No. 36 (Kimberly Road/ Cascade Road, Southwest outside perimeter) were all affected by Sunday’s brownout, said Cochran.

“Our goal is not to instill panic, but we are definitely stretched very thin,” added Cochran

So let me get this straight. They’re raising City taxes and if your home is on fire during the Superbowl it’ll just have to burn down. Ain’t that about a b*tch!!

Atlanta was shut down last night between the hours of 6pm and 10pm as dayum near everyone was somewhere watching Superbowl XLIII.? The 2 Live Stews of 790 The Zone held their own shindig down at Luckie Food Lounge and the event, sponsored by Crown Royal was where several ATLiens chose to view the game. Celebs spotted chillin in the VIP were Fantasia Barrino, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Quincy “Q” Parker of 112 and more.? Former Atlanta Falcons, Chuck Smith and Bob Whitfield were also spotted watching the game and drinking up all the free liquor.

Mugshot Mania ~ Female Rapist (Is This Possible?)

Meet Janice McCarl. The Colorado woman, 53, was arrested last night for allegedly sexually assaulting a male friend late last year. McCarl, seen below in a Longmont Police Department mug shot, was booked into jail on a felony charge of suspicion of sexual assault. According to a police report, a copy of which you’ll find here, the victim, 50, told investigators that he invited McCarl to a barbecue at his home last November. Following the barbecue, the man contends that he passed out and awoke to find McCarl molesting him. The man, who believes that he was somehow drugged by McCarl, told police that she “had her hands…in his ass.” The man said that when he later confronted McCarl, she laughed and asked, “What did I do, kill somebody.” He added that McCarl eventually acknowledged the molestation and apologized.

The victim told police that, prior to the attack, he had been “intimate” with McCarl “approximately 5-6 times since July 2008.” McCarl is scheduled to appear this afternoon in Boulder County District Court. (Source)

Is it really possible for a female to rape a male? I mean…aren’t there some things that have to happen in order for the sex act to be successful?? I recall where DMX accused a chick who was seeking paternity of raping him but he was probably on them beans. In either case, the male had to be somewhat willing. I guess 😕

Mugshot Mania ~ The Sleep Deprivation Edition

A Monroe woman, who said she was angry because her boyfriend wouldn?t let her sleep, shot him with a small-caliber handgun, according to an arrest affidavit.

Charged with aggravated battery was Roshonda Anding, 21, of 3002 Burg Jones Lane. She remained in Ouachita Correctional Center on Saturday afternoon with no bond set.

The arrest affidavit said Ouachita deputies found the victim in his car at the intersection of Beverly Street and Morton early Saturday. The victim had been shot once in the hip, and was taken to LSU Medical Center.

Deputies said they encountered the suspect walking in the vicinity of the shooting scene. The affidavit said Anding led authorities to the handgun, which she had thrown into a culvert.

?Anding was cooperative,? the affidavit said, and ?only stated that she shot (the victim) because he was bothering her and wouldn?t let her sleep.? (Source)

…and the moral of this story is: I need some dayum sleep before I kill somebody. 😯

Check out a few flix of what was billed as T.I.’s final live performance before hitting the clink. Tip performed at Jet Mirage Nightclub in Vegas Monday evening and what started out as a routine club performance ended as a peep show as Tip displayed his hairy goodies onstage.

*Updated* Here’s what happened according to an email received by NecoleBitchie from an onlooker at the club:

I am a TI STAN. Love Him to DEATH!! but felt a certain way when seeing this photo of him posted over on Sister 2 Sister?s website. He was at a concert in Vegas when he wiped his ding dong with his shirt, then gave it to some girl in the crowd. I am a stan but even my groupie has it?s limits. And can you please pass the message to TI that his bird cage is not sexy. My husband makes me wax on the regular and he keeps a nice trim so it bothers me when I see hairy azz men who don?t trim their bushes. How can a female ever find his gold in that tangled web.
