Oprah Winfrey is hitting the campaign trail for what might be the nation’s first Black Female governor.

Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams is facing a tough race, but she’s got some big names backing her in the challenge to take over Georgia, which is a traditionally red state.

The media mogul is in town today and was recently spotted going door to door in an Atlanta area neighborhood on behalf of Abrams.

Union dressed up as rocker Gwen Stefani as she celebrated her 46th birthday with a ’90s-themed bday bash and in doing so, she was unfairly criticized by a slew of racist social media users who claim her costume was a form of cultural appropriation and reverse racism.

Monica Partners With Cricket Wireless To Give Scholarships to Inner City Students…

Singer Monica made a surprise visit to The Gathering Spot to make a special announcement recently.

Cricket Wireless made a $125,000 donation to the Atlanta Music Project (AMP). The gift will go toward giving 100 students full scholarships to participate in the organization?s newly launched All Star Youth Orchestra & Choir.

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning artist, actress, philanthropist and entrepreneur, Monica was inspired to be a part of the event and support the kids because of her passion for arts and music education.
