Yet another litigant in the Bishop Eddie Long Sex Scandal has been found by cameras! Atlanta news station WSB-TV couldn’t be outdone by the Fox-5 I-team’s riveting Colorado interview with Jamal Parris, so they set out to locate Spencer Legrande in North Carolina.
LeGrande, a NC resident who filed the 4th lawsuit against Long, said Wednesday he continues to pray for the megachurch pastor.
LeGrande, 22,? who was interviewed by Channel 2 Action News at his home in Charlotte, N.C., said he told his family and a few friends, including a police officer, about the sexual relationship, but he didn’t decide to come forward until he heard others had accused the bishop of sexual coercion.
“They said bishop has been accused of something, and my heart dropped,” he said. “And that was my time that God told me to release what I had to say.”
LeGrande first met Long when he was 15 and a member at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, where he and his mother were among the founding families, according to his suit. He said they first had sex when he was 17 and on a trip with Long to Nairobi, Kenya. He later moved to Atlanta.

He said that in the time since he filed the suit, he has “been free.”
“Once God’s time is ready for it to expose everything it’s going to happen, and I just … want people to know to keep praying,” he said. “Keep praying for our strength and for us getting through this.”

When Jazmine Sullivan sung about Busting Windows all I could do was laugh, sing along and shake my head. Some things just touch me for reasons I care not to document on this blog….. but Ms. Sullivan is one artist who has managed to capture her heartache in her music.
And now there’s “10 Seconds” – reminiscent of old school Rose Royce’s “I’m going down”, the Salaam Remi produced track speaks to the end of a relationship where Sullivan is giving her lover 10 seconds to get the hell on.
Often compared to the iconic Mary J. Blige, Sullivan is the new millennium MJB. Once Mary lost the drama the edge went with it and although Mary’s still a force, Jazzy picks up where she left off… speaking to the broken hearts of millions.
Whoever hurt her has made her a star. It’s obvious that pain is one ingredient to her soulful songs but whatever the concoction, let’s hope she keeps bringing it!
