This song was sent to me over on my Twitter a few weeks ago and had been way too busy to listen to it. I finally got around to it and actually liked the song. Now…I’m no music critic by any means, and have never professed to be, but people are always tryna get me to listen to their music. *sigh* I fell for it this time only because I thought the song was about me. Yes. I’m so vain. LOL.

I’m probably a bit biased because of the title of Yung CEO’s “ATLien” but feel free to comment and let him know if he rep’d his city well in the song.

Shoot…this songs been all over Atlanta’s airwaves for a minute now and since I rarely do more than one song on my “A” Pod at a time, it kinda slipped through the cracks. I know you’ve heard of Def Jam artists FLY (Fast Life Yungstaz) “Swag Surfin,” but in case you haven’t, it’s about time to check it out! Mook, Myco McFly & Vee will have you ‘Swag Surfin’ before you know it!

I’m about 5 days late for the world premiere of Diddy’s “Diddy Bop” video but here it is. Better late than never…right? The song features A-town favorite, Yung Joc,? who’s currently vying to be Diddy’s new right hand man *pause* 😕

One question: How old is too old to be rappin about poppin bottles and jump-offs? I ain’t mad at Diddy for tryna keep up with the youngstas in the club…but I am mad at him for taking his shirt off in this video. Oh and speaking of jump offs…Diddy is featured today on Tales of a Groupie where a former jump off reveals:

Any ladies who get the chance to f*ck diddy- go for it. If you do [make sure] you put in work heavy, if so, you’ll have a friend for life.

The Return of Maxwell

Columbia Records held a celebration last night to announce Maxwell?s long-awaited new album “BLACKsummers’night.” The highly anticipated trilogy will consist of three seperate discs to be released over the course of three years starting this year. The first disc is scheduled to drop July 7th. After a 7 year hiatus, Maxwell is now 35 years old, he’s seasoned and he’s cut his signature locks, but his silky sexy voice remains the same.
