Your favorite May/December couple Vivica A Fox and her fiance’ Omar “Slimm” White were spotted partying in NYC for publicist BJ Coleman’s Birthday Party.
Viv strategically displayed her huge rock front and center as she posed between her handsome boy toy and the popular PR dude, who reportedly turned 31 (again) this year.
I’m sure there’s no law against “repeating” birthdays, Vivica does it all the time.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton died 10 years ago today in a fiery plane crash on August 25, 2001 in the Bahamas after filming the music video for her single ?Rock the Boat” and today many have honor her memory.
As I was perusing videos of the fallen star, I came across several interviews that revealed how humble and beautiful Aaliyah was even though her star was steadily rising.
A few I found interesting were Beyonce’s interview of Aaliyah on the red carpet of the 2001 MTV Video awards (where Aaliyah and Diddy also presented an award), Aaliyah’s final BET 106&Park appearance (where she premiered her “We Need A Resolution” video), and Aaliyah’s appearance on The Late Show.

This time, BA gota lil sumthin’ on Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins, who is often spotted speeding around town in his black Ferrari, and let’s just say, whoever he stuck it to, wasn’t very pleased with his man meat! 😯
I’ve heard several tales about Jeezy (like the one about when he was in Inserection on Northside drive buying up all the male enhancement pills… but I’m sure that was just a rumor), and while no one really knows what happened between he and that groupie in that backseat, bedroom, bathroom, or neighborhood park… it’s always fun to live vicariously through a hot story.

The Diva better known as Janet Jackson has pretty much given PETA the middle finger in a new ad campaign.
For the 2nd year in a row, Janet (Miss Jackson if you’re nasty), is being marketed as the face of BlackGlama, a luxury mink fur company, and she unabashedly appears in several ad spots for the company along with the caption “What Becomes a Legend Most”…
“It became clear in our discussions of who the ‘Legend’ should be this year, that continuing the momentum with Janet made complete sense,” says Joe Morelli, CEO of Blackglama.
“She embodies glamour, luxury and sophistication, everything that Blackglama stands for.”
Apparently FUR becomes a legend, just ask my boo Antwan “Big Boi” Patton! But I digress…

In his new video for “How to Love” Lil Wayne pushes the envelope by providing mature context and images about molestation, multiple pregnancies, abortion, single-parenting, domestic abuse, black male incarceration, prostitution and HIV/AIDs in our communities.
With a cameo from Tristan Wilds (The Wire, Secret Life of Bees), Wayne’s video takes us into the life of “beautiful” girl who has never known love.
She endures abuse and rape; signs up for an abortion but then skips out; she chooses the wrong men, becomes a stripper and then has sex for money.
SPOILER ALERT: she ends up with HIV.
Some have called the visual offensive, while others feel it’s a perfect way to solicit dialogue on these important issues.

Mickey “MempHitz” Wright faced a Clayton County judge yesterday evening on charges that he carried a loaded pistol into Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport. [mugshot]
Wright, who is licensed to carry a gun, was arrested Monday morning when TSA agents found a pistol in his carry-on luggage and spent the night in jail prior to his appearance in court.
Charged with the misdemeanor offense of carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location, Wright was unnecessarily cuffed and shackeld as he was escorted into court wearing an orange jail jumpsuit. 
His wife Toya sat quietly in the back of the courtroom in support of her new husband.
MempHitz was carrying a 40-caliber Desert Eagle firearm in his carry-on luggage and says it was all just a big mistake.
He apologetically addressed Clayton County Magistrate Court Judge Daphne Walker, stating:
I just wanted to say to you that I would never intentionally take a firearm to the airport.
I just forgot that it was in my backpack.
Walker reminded MempHitz that although he has a license to carry, “you do have to be careful when you go to the airport to be sure you remove it.” She then granted him a $5,000 bond.
MempHitz has since been released from jail and hit up twitter thanking his supporters and apologizing to his family & fans.
