Meet 44 year old Michele Kalina. Michele took the above mugshot after she was arrested and charged with concealing the deaths of at least 4 of her children.

The woman secretly conceived several children through an extramarital affair, killed her newborns, then kept their remains in coolers or encased in concrete in her closet until family members found them this year, authorities said Monday.

This crazy cheating psycho hid at least six pregnancies from her husband and longtime boyfriend, according to officials in Berks County, Pennsylvania, where a homicide charge was filed against the home-health aide.

Kalina, a nurse’s aide, also bore a daughter from the same affair in 2003 but gave that baby up for adoption. She and her husband have a teenaged daughter and had a 13-year-old son who died in 2000 after a long illness.

The husband and daughter found five sets of infant remains in a closet this summer in coolers, one of which was filled with cured cement, police said. At least four of the babies were born at or near term, then killed in a manner consistent with asphyxia, poisoning or neglect, authorities determined.

Tests have confirmed that the boyfriend fathered three and possibly four of the victims. Tests on the fifth baby were inconclusive.

With only minimal information from Kalina herself, investigators have no idea where the babies were born or how they died, making the case a tough circumstantial one to prove.

In interviews in early August, Kalina told police she had forbidden her husband and daughter from going in the closet, but apparently they didn’t listen (or the stench of rotting flesh became too much to bear) because the daughter called authorities to inquire about the bones.? Officers responded to a call and told the teen the bones weren’t human and said she and her father could throw them out, which they did.

Later that day, the pair called again to say they had found additional remains. Investigators then suspected they were indeed human.

Kalina will be held without bail pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Thursday. She has been in custody since August on abuse-of-corpse charges and is being held without bail after she was arraigned Monday on one count of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and related charges. Additional counts may be filed before trial.

Meet Bennie Pendergrass. Bennie is/was a daycare bus driver and he took to above mugshot after he was arrested in Atlanta yesterday for forgotting to drop off a 5-year-old boy.

The boy was found crying outside of the driver’s Atlanta home around 7pm Tuesday evening. He was unharmed.

Pendergrass told police he had no idea the child was still in the bus after completing his afternoon route for Angel’s Paradise Higher Learning Academy.

“The bus driver came out, saw what had happened, and took the kid home.” The child’s mother was forgiving and did not wanting to press charges, says Atlanta Police spokesman Curtis Davenport.

Unfortunately police thought otherwise. Pendergrass was arrested and charged with child endangerment and reckless conduct. He was released on bond Wednesday evening.
