Erykah Badu was the special guest DeeJay last Friday (June 17, 2011) at a special edition of Euphoria at Harlem Nights nightclub in Atlanta.
The queen of neo-soul’s alter ego “DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown” rocked the mic all night long and entertained the crowd by mixing and scratching Erykah’s hits with classic hip-hop beats and more.

Lawd knows I loves me some Peter Thomas (who I saw recently during ATL Live on the Park), so imagine my surprise yesterday when my good twitter friend Bravolebrity1 clued me in on Peter’s recent legal issues.
Apparently Peter was in an Atlanta court earlier this week addressing charges that he assaulted a female employee of his now defunct Uptown Nightclub.
A quick search revealed two mugshots for the chocolate Casanova aka Real Atlanta Housewife Cynthia Bailey’s Hubby.??
The first was from an April 2008 arrest in which Peter was arrested for Simple Battery. He was released the same day after posting $1,000 bond and charges were later dropped in that case.
The second mugshot was from the incident on December 3, 2009 when he was arrested in Atlanta for Simple Battery and Battery with visible harm. Peter was released the same day of the arrest after posting $2,000 bond and appeared in court this week (Monday, June 20, 2011) to face his accuser and former employee.
Peter was originally facing up to a year in prison if convicted but he has confirmed that he was found NOT GUILTY of all charges.

Newsfash! My bodacious boo Rick Ross just got a new tattoo…
In what many consider to be either asinine or marketing genius,? RickyRozay recently tatted a “Cazal” logo on his face right below his left eye. The new tatt adds to the numerious collection of tattoos Ross has already. He even has two other’s on his face, the Maybach Music logo (“MMG”) and “The Bawse”.
Ross is reportedly a huge fan of the designer and owns a huge collection of frames by Cazal, whose collection was popular in the 80’s and 90’s.? The vintage look has been resurrected via hip-hop heads and fashionistas alike, with Jay-Z, Beyonce, Diddy and even Brad Pitt rocking the brand.
I don’t know what Rick was thinking when he made this decision, but hopefully he can get some free eyewear outta the deal… *shrug*

There’s a dating site for just about anything these days.
But being that I’m constantly online and I KNOW that people pretend to be just about anything from behind a keyboard, I’m not a huge proponent of online dating.
I know that it’s a big business, but I prefer to meet my men the old fashioned way… in person. At the gas station, the grocery store, the airport… or even at social functions.

BEHOLD… the mugshot Nivea said didn’t exisit! (If looks could kill, we’d all be 6 feet under right now!)
I broke the story about Nivea’s DUI early Sunday morning >>> (click HERE if you missed it) but TMZ broke the mugshot! (Although, Lord knows I searched for it. *sigh*)
According to law enforcement sources … Nivea was on the road around 1:30 AM on Sunday when she plowed her ’06
Mercedes right into a tree that had fallen into the road during a recent storm.
We’re told when cops arrived at the scene, Nivea had “bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol.” Nivea told police she only had 3 drinks earlier in the evening … and didn’t see the bright yellow crime tape and the traffic cones directing cars away from the downed tree.
Nivea was eventually arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and reckless driving. We’re told the child in the car was not injured and was released to Nivea’s boyfriend.
I guess there’s no need for me to worry about that slander case huh?

In one song, So Gone (What My Mind Says), the 39-year-old Philly native teams up with artist Paul Wall to create a racy track celebrating celibacy and the art of “pleasuring oneself”…
?It?s a song about a girl who is being celibate because she?s respecting herself and trying to do something completely different.
In the meantime, she?s still a boss and she could use a little [sex],? explains Scott.
