A letter from a freed former slave to his onetime master has recently gone viral.
The letter was written in response to an August of 1865 letter from Colonel P.H. Anderson of Big Spring, Tennessee, who wrote to his former slave Jourdan Anderson, requesting that Jourdon return to work on his farm.
After being emancipated, Jourdon had moved to Ohio, found paid work, and was now supporting his family. He responded spectacularly by way of the letter seen below, which was reprinted in the New York Daily Tribune weeks after it’s mailing.

Ciara?s love of sports (and single athletes) landed her a gig co-hosting with Kevin Frazier on ?The Insider? to kickoff Sunday’s Super Bowl 46 and she rocked quarterback Tom Brady?s jersey to show her support.
The single songstress got a chance to personally interview a few of the New England Patriots on the playing field and she seemed to hit it off quite nicely with NE safety Sergio Brown (#31).
Ciara also caught up with Deon Sanders and the two reportedly reminisced about their “A” town stomping grounds.

TMZ revealed yesterday that a tax lien was filed against the former NFL “Dirty Bird” by the Georgia Department of Revenue, claiming he owes money for the 2007 fiscal year. And what started out as $52,234.28 has nearly doubled to $102,797.06, due to interest, penalties and fees.
But Anderson ain’t no broke “A”zz Atlanta rapper… he’s a former FALCON for God’s sake!
So guess what? He got a new gig that can pay that debt and MORE!

Big launched the series last year and began filming short video segments documenting the “Crown Life” of Sir Lucious Leftfoot and now he’s allowed the cameras to go behind the scenes to document his European tour.
The most recent short film follows Big Boi overseas as he performs at Glastonbury in England and at The Hove Festival in Norway.
The cameras also document Big as he spends a day off in Budapest, Hungary.
[Sidebar: Big is still “solo” at the moment… but he and Andre 3000 have been in the studio a lot lately.? So Outkast fans may have a lil surprise coming sooner than later! But you didn’t hear that from me…shhh!]

Just last week,?Waka Flocka Flame hooked up with Drake in L.A. to jump start the video shoot for his hot strip club anthem, “Round of Applause.”
Waka brought it on home to the ATL to finish it up with the home team, and wrapped up the shoot at Diamond’s of Atlanta strip club last night (January 30, 2012).
