Reid spoke at the ceremony and there are several parties planned all weekend in his honor.??If you’re wondering how or why he deserves such an honor, peep the video?he compiled of all his accomplishments.? Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges hosted a charity event for the Ludacris Foundation last week at the Ralph Lauren Store at Lenox Square Mall.?? The store closed it’s doors to the general public at 6:00pm for a three hour private shopping event. ?
The patrons became the largest crowd in the event’s three year history, Ludacris told the crowd.
“The turnout was amazing and the event was above expectation,” said Chaka Zulu, CEO and co-founder of Disturbing Tha Peace Records. “We know the Atlanta community is rich in so many ways and they constantly support DTP on so many levels.”??(Source)
The event began at Luda’s new restaurant, Straits, with a $100 per plate private dinner?that offered guests a taste-testing of the restaurant’s cuisine.? The dinner and the shopping event raised tens of thousands of dollars to go towards HIV/AIDs testing and research.
