Over 1300 people rocked all-white attire for the 12th Annual All White Affair held in celebration of the 2011 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Saturday, July 2, 2011.

The event was hosted by Keisha Walker (Insights Marketing) with co-hosts Actor Laz Alonso & Doug E. Fresh with Kenny Burns on the mic.

Attendees include actor Isaiah Washington (my new favorite twitter buddy), NFL Players: Corey Bradford, Keyaron Fox, Fred Smoot & Charles Grant; newlyweds Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas of the Atlanta Housewives, Tameka Foster Glover Raymond and many more.

You See Beyonce’ at Target… Now What? Here’s How Harlem Reacted [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Beyonce was treated to a buggy ride by her hot bodyguard Julius. It was all in fun though, as they strategically planned Bey’s entrance to a local Target.

[Sidebar: I bet you’ve never seen anything like THAT for sale at your local Target supercenter… 😆 ]

Well, Queen King B was up to her old tricks again as she shocked Harlem a 2nd time!

Last Thursday (June 30, 2011), kids from the Harlem Boys and Girls Club and YMCA were invited to their neighborhood Target to learn a dance routine to “Countdown” from Beyonc?’s longtime choreographer, Frank Gaston, and her back-up dancers.

What they didn’t know is that halfway through their performance, Beyonce would join them on stage.

The PLANKING craze is picking up speed and even my boo Antwan “Big Boi” Patton (above) has decided to join in on all the tomfoolery.

Celebs have jumped on the “Planking” bandwagon and have begun sending pics across their social networks, including comedian Lil Duval, Dwight Howard, Gilbert Arenas, Slim Thug, Bun B, Joe Budden and more.

I personally think it’s an idiotic act, but I still can’t help but laugh at the pics… 😆

Who Knew Diet Soda Could Make You Fat?!?

I’ve been on a diet for what seems like a lifetime and for the past year or so Coke Zero has been my drink of choice with Diet Coke used as an alternative ONLY if my CZ isn’t available.

That being said, I just read about two studies which claim that while diet soft drinks may have few or no calories, they can still have a major impact on your waistline.

We fatties can’t win for losing! *sigh*

New Doo Alert: NeNe Leakes Goes Blond-ER… [PHOTOS]

I totally overlooked these photos of NeNe Leakes on the carpet of the 2011 BET Awards, but it appears NeNe’s rocking a lighter version of her sandy brown locks these days.

Just days prior to hitting the west coast, Leakes hit the streets of NYC with her pooch and a gal pal, where she was spotted shoveling sh*t (as she’s known to do frequently on the streets of the “A” as well – or so I’ve heard.)

It’s rumored that Leakes has fell out with just about all of her fellow Atlanta “Housewives”, but she’s found a true friend and confident in her new BFF Jennifer Williams (of VH1’s Basketball Wives).

If you recall, they met last year when NeNe was kickin it with Star Jones’ ex, Al Reynolds. The two have been inseparable ever since (whenever they’re in the same town at least)…

Fantasia Barrino was spotted in Barbados yesterday (June 28, 2011) wearing what appeared to be a maternity dress.

It was only a few months ago that Fannie performed in Atlanta appearing a bit thick in the waist.

The rumor mill started buzzing at that time that she was pregnant by her married boyfriend Antuan Cook and Fannie’s team went into overdrive declaring that she merely packed on the pounds to play Mahalia Jackson.

Fantasia also brought Antuan along for the ride, as she was spotted frolicking with him on the beach earlier the same day.? It was THIS PHOTO of Fannie in her gut busting one-piece combined with her stage attire that has sparked all the baby talk.

So what do you think… is she or isn’t she? Only time will tell…
