Ali, Quez and Strap, the three cuties known as Travis Porter took over Atlanta’s Lenox Square Mall a few days ago (June 14, 2011).
The trio hit the Apple store where they performed several of their hit songs and almost caused the upper level of Lenox Square to topple under the weight of all their anxious fans.
I was invited out to speak with Travis Porter but my experience with a member of their crew jaded me a lil bit and I decided to forgo our interview, rather than appear all salty on camera.
At the end of the day, the group themselves had absolutely nothing to do with their idiotic road manager, and I allowed my emotions to get in the way.
I actually like Travis Porter AND the music they make, so umma let bygones be bygones. [but if I ever catch that knee-grow on the street… <<< I kidd. I kidd]

Add another one for Gucci Mane.? It’s been a while since we seen Gucci around town and I just thought I’d give you an updated peek at his pretty tatted up face.
Gucci was initially locked up on April 20th for probation violation charges after an incident where he “allegedly” kicked a chick out of a moving vehicle but you already know that wasn’t the first time…
[READ: Mugshot Gallery: The Many Faces of Radric Davis…]
In case you didn’t know, Gucci Mane is still custody and this recent mugshot, taken June 16, 2011, stems from a long list of charges: interfering with government property, failure to obey traffic signal, driving on the wrong side of the road, and simple assault.
This calls for a musical interlude…
QUESTION: Do you think this will increase Gucci’s street cred & marketability… or is he just another dumb rapper locked up?
As you know, Diff’rent Strokes” star Todd Bridges has had more than his share of troubles with drug addiction & the law and he even wrote a book about it…

So right before I fell into a deep sleep in front of the tele, I was shocked to hear the voice of the former child star begging me to complete courses at some random online university to become a Alcohol & Drug abuse counselor.
But just like that White dude who invented lacefronts, the former child star isn’t merely collecting a check to be the spokesperson… he’s a bonafide client!
Bridges credits counseling for changing his life and hopes to encourage others to follow his path as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor by attending obtaining an online degree [insert side-eye here]…
Alcohol and drug counselors saved my life.
Without the help I received from addiction counselors during my treatment and recovery process, I would not be here today. It?s that simple.

Meet 87-year old Ola Mae Agee. The innocent looking granny was nabbed in Pensacola, Florida last year after she sold an undercover officer crack cocaine in her living room.
Agee was arrested and charged back in May 2010 by Escambia County officers and taken to jail but was released on her own recognizance because of her age.
In November 2010, a jury found the senior citizen guilty of one count of selling cocaine.? Agee was sentenced to 18 months in jail, however she could have been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
Agee was convicted mainly due to a surveillance video of the sale, which shows the undercover officer purchasing the drugs. He knocked on the back door of Agee’s home. Agee then answers the door and walks the officer to another room where she retrieves the crack after rummaging through the couch cushions.

Meet the men of “Tha Life,” an Atlanta reality show that focuses on the lives of 6 gay men. [Sidebar: I had to crop out two to make that picture fit.] I got this in my email the other day and I don’t know how y’all kept this from me all this time!
As an avid fan of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and an Atlanta resident, I can fully appreciate this new concept of following the lives of these fabulous men. I was originally hoping Dwight Eubanks, Lawrence Washington Miss Lawrence & Derek J would finally come together with their own spin-off of RHOA, but this one goes a step further.
There’s six gay “housewives”: Al (the “Superstar”), Donte (the “Moneymaker”), Terrence (the “Mayor of Atlanta”), Will (“Mr. Socialite”), J. Will (“Mr. Unpredictable”), and Dr. George Smith (the “New Face” of Atlanta).
I swear these old stunt queens floss harder than any RHOA cast mate ever could, driving Benz’s & Bentley’s around town while sipping on Mojitos and Cosmos all night long at the club.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry but I learned a whole lot from watching this.
