Waka Flocka Flame Gives Back for Thanksgiving… [PHOTOS]

Waka Flocka Flame was spotted out yesterday (Tuesday, November 22, 2011) on the southside of Atlanta as the Mizay Entertainment family joined forces with the city of Riverdale and its Mayor, Dr. Dixon to service the community during the company’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway.

200 pre-selected families, including representatives from local day care centers, Riverdale public schools and neighboring churches were presented with gift baskets which included turkeys, fresh collard greens, yams, pasta and stuffing.

Mizay Entertainment CEO Debra Antney along with her staff and artists Waka Flocka, Wooh Da Kid, producer Southside and singer/songwriter Tarvoria all joined Mayor Dixon and members of the city council to distribute the items.

In case you’re wondering, Gucci Mane missed this year’s event because he’s still sitting in Dekalb County jail serving time on probation violation.

Major props to Waka for continuing to feed families in need this holiday season!

Quick Quotes: Peter Thomas Pops Off About the Atlanta Housewives… AGAIN!

Apparently Peter Thomas, husband of Cynthia Bailey of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, didn’t get the message when Apollo got in his face the other night or perhaps he simply ignored all the drama ignited by his previous statements about the RHOA cast.

On clashing with Apollo:

What people see is what it is. I don?t really know Apollo. Apollo felt like he was defending his wife [regarding] the UPTOWN article that I did . . . the article wasn?t about them. The article was about how I felt about what my wife said and what people were saying about, you know, UPTOWN Restaurant and Lounge and that she gave me money to do it and I wanted to set the record straight by saying yes she made a contribution but I didn?t take her wallet to do it.

Whatever the case, Peter is back in his feelings again, sharing his thoughts on Sheree Whitfield‘s cuteness (or lack thereof) and a slew of other things.

Peter is my all-time favorite househusband (next to Phaedra‘s hubby Apollo) and I ain’t afraid to say it. The only thing I’m upset about is that he didn’t pop off to ME!

Lil Scrappy’s Teeth Want You To Know… [VIDEO]

Legendary Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy had a few crooked teeth after being bashed in the mouth with a bottle a few years ago, so he decided to get his teeth fixed.

Scrappy spent over $100,000 for his grill and even bragged about it on WorldstarHipHop [VIDEO] but the results were less than he desired, so he did what any other rapper in this city would…? he got a do-over!

On his 2nd try, Scrappy didn’t want NO PROBLEMS, so he followed the footsteps of a few rappers before him and now he’s singing the praises about the savior that fixed his teeth.

Before I go somewhere else, I’d rather sit at home be ugly… and have an ugly smile!

Monica and her husband NBA baller Shannon Brown celebrated the 1 year anniversary of their wedding by spending a romantic Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia.

The two lovebirds lovingly tweeted each other leading up to their romantic vacation and subsequently shared the photos above and below for their fans.

Janelle Mon?e Honored at ASCAP 3rd Annual Women Behind The Music Series… [PHOTOS]

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Janelle Mon?e rocked all back everything as she accepted her honor from ASCAPs Rhythm & Soul team during their 3rd Annual Women Behind The Music Series in Atlanta.

After a successful performance last month at the White House, Janelle made it back to the “A,” where ASCAP’s empowerment series made a stop at Ludacris’ Straits Restaurant last Friday (November 18th) to honor women who have made great contributions to the music industry.

In addition to Janelle, Entertainment Attorney, Uwonda Carter; and renowned vocal coach Jan Smith also received honors for their contributions the music industry as well.

Twitter Beef! RHOA Kim Zolciak Guns For NeNe Leakes AND Cynthia Bailey…

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is way more real than you could ever imagine. So much so, that newlywed Kim Zolciak feels the need respond to the resident bully NeNe Leakes online.

NeNe tweeted last week that Kim and Kroy were renting their fabulous new estate (which you can see HERE) and while “Everybody knows it’s true that Kim is renting” (stated in my Phaedra Parks voice), Kim wasn’t too pleased about NeNe saying it and decided to spill NeNe’s tea online (she even dragged ex housewife Lisa Wu into it)…

Notice that Kimmy didn’t deny that she’s renting, only that NeNe is renting too!

These chicks slay me…. we all know NeNe doesn’t own anything, especially after she and Gregg were busted by that investigative reporter participating in mortgage scams.
