Happy Holidays SFTA Fam! I’m traveling the globe assisting Santa in the delivery of toys to all good boys and girls so I’ll be outta the loop for a minute but I took a few moments to compile a post full of photos from a few A-Town Christmas events. Devyne Stephens held his annual Christmas party Tuesday evening (Dec. 22) at the Atlanta History Center. This year’s theme was “Puttn’ on the Ritz” and Devyne went all out in celebration of the holidays. After much hoopla and debate, a single has finally been selected for Monica‘s highly anticipated comeback CD, “Still Standing”.? The song, entitled “One in a Lifetime” is a beautiful ode to love and having that special ONE in your life.

On Big Happy Family ~ Lil Wayne & Toya Celebrate Daughter’s Birthday + 1st Pics of Waynes Baby Bo

Lil Wayne and his ex-wife Antonia ‘Toya” Carter of the Tiny & Toya show threw a lavish birthday bash for their 11 year old daughter Reginae. Reginae’s pajama jammy jam brought out all her friends and family but the talk of the night was two baby mama’s in the same building. The mother of Wayne’s 1st born son, Sara (photo) also attended the bash along with son Dewayne Michael Carter III. One big happy family.

[Sidebar: In case you were wondering, Wayne now has a total of four kids. Toya’s daughter, Reginae, 1st son and namesake DeWayne Michael Carter III, 2nd son by Lauren London (name unconfirmed), and a newborn by Nivea Nash, who gave birth to healthy baby boy Neal Carter yesterday (Nov. 30th).]

Atlanta Celebs Endorse Atlanta Mayoral Candidate Kasim Reed

Atlanta Mayoral candidate Kasim Reed has been officially endorsed by some of Atlanta’s music industry elite. Several notable A-town celebs joined Reed in a recent campaign rally to raise funds and to create voter? awareness about the upcoming run-off. Fellow ATLien Fonzworth Bently served as host for the evening, and gave us his take on why Kasim should be the next mayor of Atlanta. Others who took part in the festivities included, Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, Monica, Ryan Glover, Ne-Yo,?Devyne Stephens and more.

In Case You Missed It ~ Monica & Derek Blanks on The Mo’Nique Show + “Still Standing” Episode 2

Two of my favorite people were on television the other night and I totally missed them! Monica AND Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks hit the stage on the Mo”Nique show earlier this week and it was like a family affair. Mo Nique invited Monica’s mom onstage for a mini interview and Monica’s boo Rocko even came out.? During Derek’s interview he seemed a bit uncomfortable. He’s so accustomed to being behind the camera that I’m sure it was a bit unnerving, but Mo quickly helped ease his nerves. That’s why I love them both so much!? Support is key!

The show concluded with Monica performing “Still Standing.” It was such a great show! I just wish I had been in the audience that day. And speaking of “Still Standing,”? if you missed Episode 2 of Monica’s BET reality show, you can watch it below: Continue Reading…
