Big Boi Joins The Atlanta Ballet
While Dre is out making movies, the other half of Outkast is collaborating with the Atlanta Ballet.? The A’s own Big Boi?has joined forces with the Atlanta Ballet for the world premiere of “Big”.? He will also be joined by other artists from Purple Ribbon Entertainment.? There are 6 planned performances which will be held at the Fox Theatre April 10th – 13th.??
One question though….can Big Boi dance?? I’m going just so I can find out!

Usher’s Album Scheduled for June Release
Usher will be releasing his new album ?Here I Stand? in June 2008.? The LP?s first single is the Polow Da Don produced track ?Love In This Club?, featuring rapper Young Jeezy.? If you haven’t already heard, the song reached number one, on the Billboard?s ?Hot 100 Singles? chart this week.? Congrats

MTV Bans Gnarls Barkley’s “Run” Video!
My favorite video this year, “Run” by Gnarls Barkley, has been banned from MTV!?? Yep…banned!? They will not play it.? There’s no nudity or violence in the video…there’s not even any foul language!??? Well, what’s the reason you ask???

T.I. to Produce Reality Show ~ “Life on Mars”
T.I. is still makin big thangs happin while under house arrest.? Gyant over at SOHH-Atlanta is reporting that he is set to executive produce a new reality series entitled “Life on Mars”.? The?show will be based on the life of Los Angeles based artist Mars, who has penned hits?for Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, The Game and Young Dro, among others.
Mar’s story is quite compelling.? He was kicked out of his father house as a teenager after choosing to devote his life to music rather than the Lord [his father is a preacher]. Life On Mars will capture the now 22 year old beat maker as he handles being pressured to be a part of his father?s church while trying to juggle making hits for various big name artists. The show has received rave reviews and is currently being shopped to different networks.?
I’m glad that Tip is still being productive.? He is very talented and I’m hoping things work out in his favor.
Rumor Control ~ Jermaine Dupri is NOT Blind!
Rumors have been circulating that Jermaine Dupri has gone blind following?his?lasik surgery two weeks ago.?
The rumors were sparked by a report on MediaTakeOut.com, which cited sources close to the producer who said he had the corrective procedure done two weeks ago and continues to have major problems with his vision.?
One source described Dupri as “virtually blind.”? (Source)
Apparently this is just another internet rumor that began after he filmed the details of his lasik surgery.? JD’s reps say he is just fine!
