Hot 107.9 held it’s annual Birthday Bash last night and I’ve heard from numerous sources that both T.I. and Shawty Lo are still publically beefing.? During both performances, each artist took the opportunity to take jabs at each other.

In a suprise move, Young Jeezy brought Usher out to perform “Love in this Club” during 107.9’s Birthday Bash 2008…. and the crowd goes wild! A-town represented!

Kanye West was?angered fans?during the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, a?festival, held 700 miles south of Nashville, which?was host to over 150 acts spread out over four days.? Prior to Kanye’s scheduled performance, the festival had basically kept it’s schedule, however, due to the elaborate stage set up demanded by Mr. West his 2:45am performance turned into 3:15am…then 3:30am!?? What pissed festival go-ers off the most was that Ye didn’t take the stage until 4:25am and didn’t even acknowledge the delay!
West had originally been slated to perform at 8:15 p.m. Saturday night, but requested a late night performance. At least in the first hour of his performance, West didn’t address the crowd regarding the delay.
Later Sunday, the Bonnaroo crowd was still upset. Pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph led a “Kanye sucks” chant. (Source)
It was reported that the delay was also caused by the delay in breaking down Pearl Jam’s set.? Delays are bound to happen, but Kanye should have addressed it.? Nevermind.? I already know that’s asking too much.? 😕

It’s Sunday…I’m still recouperating from this weekend and this is easy (so humor me)!? The Hidden Beach “Unwrapped” series is one of my favorites, so I’m really?excited about this compilation! 🙂 Hidden Beach recordings has collaborated with Collipark records for “Unwrapped Vol. 5.0: The Collipark Cafe Sessions.”? It is scheduled for release June 24th and will feature the jazz versions of some of Atlanta’s greatest hits!
The timing coincided with a hip-hop/jazz hybrid project that Collipark Studios had started on its own. “I felt Hidden Beach and its ‘Unwrapped’ series was a no-brainer,” says Mr. Collipark. “You have to do a project like this right; with someone who knows that older audience. My label knows what the youth want. So we felt this would be a great partnership to make a CD that both parents and children will enjoy.” (Source)
