“In The Closet’ ~ Michael Jackson ft. Naomi Campbell
Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy may seem like they have absolutely nothing in common but actually they were quite good friends. Early in his career, Eddie used Mike as subject matter in his stand up, where he joked about Michael’s emotional performance of “She’s Outta My Life”, and as Eddie’s star rose, he and Mike gained a mutual respect for one another.
Check out a few choice videos of the two of them together below,? beginning with Eddie’s 1983 Delirious roast of Jackson and ending with the two of them appearing in each other’s music videos: Continue Reading…
“She’s Outta My Life” ~ Michael Jackson
“This loss has deeply saddened me, with a heavy heart I composed this statement. May God cover you Michael. We all lift your name up in prayer. I pray for the entire JACKSON family particularly Michael?s mother and all his fans that loved him so much. I would not be the artist, performer, and philanthropist I am today without the influence of Michael. I have great admiration and respect for Him and I?m so thankful I had the opportunity to meet and perform with such a great entertainer In so many ways he transcended culture. He broke barriers, he changed radio formats! With music, he made it possible for people like Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama to impact the mainstream world. His legacy is unparalleled Michael Jackson will never be forgotten.? ~ Usher via Twitter
It’s no secret where Usher found the inspiration for his signature moves. Check out a flashback video of he and Mike in an onstage dance battle below with a funny surprise guest: Continue Reading…
The legendary Michael Jackson passed away today at the age of 50. Jackson suffered an apparent heart attack at his Bel-Air home and was rushed to UCLA Medical Center around 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. His death was confirmed by Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
I’m still speechless at this news and I’m walking round crying like I lost my big brother. I don’t know about you but regardless of how strange Micheal had grown over the years, he was still in my heart the “little Michael” below: Continue Reading…
Have you received this email recently about the missing 3 year old named Jewel Strong?
Missing 3 year Old Girl
You never know, who knows whom
Another child missing.
Please forward to everyone you know.
Her family needs your help finding her.
The email has been circulating for about 3 years now, beginning in 2006. It’s not a complete hoax,? little Jewel Strong (pictured above) was actually missing but not as the result of an abduction or runaway.? The Jonesboro tot, who was 3 years old in 2006, was vacationing along with her family in Panama City Beach.? The child and her 18 year old aunt were playing in a float in the water and were caught in strong currents.? Rescuers were able to rescue the aunt, but the 3 year old was swept under the water and could not be found.
Over the course of several weeks, rescuers conducted an intensive search of the child by boat, divers and helicopter. Sadly they turned up nothing.? Little Jewel’s distraught parents held out hope that she was alive and well somewhere but all signs point to the small child drowning and being swept away by the strong currents.
It’s a sad sad story that has developed over the course of these three years. The parents refused to give up hope and went through hell and high water to find their child. I did a lil internet research and compiled what’s been going on with the case all these years. If you got that email again today and are interested in Jewel’s story check it out below:
